Alissa getting mad at David for him doing exactly what she inteded to do to him ... Priceless
Having spent his time catering to Alissa's needs and requests - only to be met with constant criticism, David decided it was time to call it quits at the commitment ceremony. With Alissa and David , they initially seemed like an unlikely couple , but then clicked during their honeymoon. It seemed like both had each others back - with the Bec, Gia and Brooke drama. That being said , a constant of Alissa's was critising David for being passive , or not " being stimulating enough". So what happened after that? David grew a backbone and told her exactly how he felt ... and he was still criticised for it, and Alissa's rational for he being the way she was with him " Hurt people babe", yeah as soon as you say that , its pretty much an admission you've made a mistake , only Alissa seemed insistant it was David's fault. Following a split - which had David leave the apartment and take his ring off , an attempted reconciliation on David's end - which ended with rejection and criticism fron Alissa ( again) , we got to the commitment ceremony. It was hinted Alissa was going to reject him at the ceremony , and you could see at the ceremony Alissa had a sh*t eating grin on her face ( clearly looking foward to rejecting him) ...only she didn't get the opportunity , because David beat her to it , and then proceeded to walk away , before she could read out her vows. The result was hilarious, with Alissa reading the vows in a empty room. You could argue that David was wrong for taking his ring off and going back after he did it , you could even argue he was wrong for walking away from Alissa's vows, but the thing to remember is David constantly tried to make it work. He listened to Alissa , and did what she requested. The result was Alissa constantly criticising him, showing a total lack of respect to him, and never taking accountability for her own actions. Also , in previous seasons where the women had been subject to abuse from their husbands , in this season I should point out how volatile the some of the wives have been , Juliet verbally abusing Joel, Gia manipulating and gaslighting Scott - to the point where he was reduced to tears, and Bec and Brooke just being outright abusive , I genuinely didn't have a problem with David walking away .
Feel bad for Bec
I’m just watching final vows (from UK)
As much as Bec has been horrible, I do feel bad for her. It’s because she obviously loves Danny, and Danny did lead her on and broke her heart at final vows. Bless her heart.
Anyone else feels somewhat bad? Or does she deserve what she got?
Gia
Hello all, UK watcher here.
Sorry im about to be a biatch asking this but is gia genuinely a catch in aus?
Im sorry but, to me, her features are just not attractive yet she seems like get attention, or at least says she does.
Im sorry I just really cant see anything but white chick's
I know there was a bit of speculation during the season about Filip having been part of this movement. Here he addresses it and what a mistake it was. His caption:
A lot of men are going to stay single… not because of women—but because of the echo chambers they sit in.
I know, because I was there.
Instead of taking responsibility, you start pointing fingers.
Blaming women. Blaming society. Blaming everything except the man in the mirror.
And that’s the trap.
The moment you hand over ownership, you lose your power.
No growth. No progress. No results.
Just noise.
A lot of these spaces run on fear—
Fear of rejection.
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of getting hurt.
And if you live like that, it bleeds into every interaction you have.
You can’t build anything real from a defensive mindset.
As a man, your job is simple (not easy):
Get on purpose.
Earn more.
Take care of your body.
Build discipline.
Take full accountability.
Do that consistently, and you don’t become jaded… you become better.
And when you become better, your life becomes something worth inviting someone into.
If you don’t know where to start—start there.
Max those areas out.
You’ll be better for yourself, better for your people, and better for the world.
Now I’m curious—what’s your take on this? 👇

Bec now dating Sydney's most expensive male escort?
Anybody see that?
So she got super jealous of Danny looking at another woman but is happy with a guy who is sleeping with dozens of women a month? Make it make sense. Are these people just subconsciously drawn to people that it will never work out with?
She sure knows how to pick em
David
I am so proud of David. He finally showed up. Alissa was so confident she would break his heart showing how conceited she really is and I am even prouder that he walked away without listening to a word. What a man !
Who is a worse human - Bec or Gia?
They are both the worst. I’m not sure which one I despise more.
Me wrapped up in a towel after a bath at granny’s circa 1985
What an awful dress 🛁
Danny and Adrian are putting on a singles event in Melbourne...WTF
They reckon they're going to get "more matches than MAFS" and all proceeds are going to "charity". So random. https://www.chattr.com.au/tv/mafs-danny-adrian-dating-event-melbourne/
UK watcher - episode 37 - David spoiler
I simply cannot express how proud I am of David! I’m only just up to their bit of the episode but I was so glad to see him finally speak his truth and gain some agency.
For clarity, I really liked Alissa and his relationship but it just started to feel a little toxic and one-sided towards the end. Which maybe could be editing of course, however, everything felt like it flipped at and after the homestays on a really big level.
Alissa reading her vows to an empty room was chef’s kiss. I’m sure she didn’t want to do that and was told as production knew that it would portray her as someone that doesn’t listen and only talks, but David being allowed to speak his peace with no interruptions and with grace was good to see.
I know we don’t see everything and I’m sure some of my interpretation is wrong but hey, that’s what I see.
Final vows...
As much as I love Alyssa, its not secret and I expect to get slated...
I agree with David walking away, he's better off without her after the way she's treated him...
BUT after saying he loved her, wasnt it just a little harsh to leave her to speak in a empty room?
Good on ya, David
Delighted he finally got to say his piece without being interrupted. Then walked away, legend.
Alissa got the ultimate taste of her own medicine.
Ps. BAYYYYBBBE!
Now we know Gia is a bare faced liar .. maybe she DID make that up about Danny…
I believed Gia before but now I wouldn’t put it past her ..
Rachel off her face
Is it just be or does Rachel often look like she’s off her face!?
Absolutely shocked
I will be transparent and say I am not completely caught up in MAFS, I am only part way through. But the second dinner party left me shook. I love a good bit of reality tv and will begrudgingly admit that I love to watch a bit of drama. But I felt sick watching that episode. I have never seen such vicious, horrible and nasty behaviour. And what is more upsetting almost, is that it is grown women. One of them having a young daughter. What kind of example is she setting for that child??
It almost made me want to switch off because I felt so horrible after watching it. I was almost begging for someone to step in and stop it.
I’m not naive enough to think that things are not scripted and organised to make the drama we all want to see, but the way Brooke, Gia and Bec (who I as surprised at cos I had been backing her up until that dinner party) acted was just embarrassing
Does anyone else think that Stella, the speaker-of-English-as-a-second-language, speaks far more articulately than most of the cast?? De-emasculating. At my tether. Harshful. Let's have yours!
Gina on Homestays
She is fucking unbelievable.
His pad looked much cleaner than my husband's when we met. Mind you, he had an actual mushroom growing in the bathroom's mouldy patch, but I digress. Love conquers all.
She didn't like his decor either. Or the pink travel pillow.
All because he tried to express his feelings on the couch at the commitment ceremony!! Where she said the word "attacked" ad nauseam without a hint of self-awareness 😡
His mates should have thrown her overboard on the boat!!
Rant over, but she's SUCH a spoiled, toxic cow.
Edit: Gia*
