Sojo vs Hiruhiko

For the sake of this conversation, Hiruhiko is only using Banquet and Play, not gonna speculate on whatever his third ability might be.

Can someone explain how Sumika works?

Like, is it like Butterfly and just injures the oponent without traveling space? We never see the attack itself, just people getting holes in their bodies without explanation of how it happens

So his sorcery is basically mass manipulation. Combined with teleportation that’s a nasty combo to have to combat against.

Repost had a typo in the last one.

Is This The Best Feat In The Series?

Ariu took this with moderate damage that he healed off in less than two pages. Given the size of the explosion here, the crater it left, and the huge shockwave, the meteor should be well into something like town level, or at the very least stronger than anything else we’ve seen so far (Akemura’s bee is maybe an exception, though this still seems bigger).

Does anything else we’ve seen compare to this? Is this potentially a pretty sizable upscale for elite non-EB users, given Hiroto was the one who originally launched the meteor?

Assuming Verse Equalization, can Ariu Mikaboshi technically just be immune to sure hit of domains, if we consider Cursed Energy equivalent to Kagurabachi Sorcerery?

Did adult Shiba surpass Hiroto as the strongest sorcerer so far?

So before Hiroto the common agreement was that Shiba was the strongest non/eb sorcerer or at tied with/very relative with Azami, however with the massive glazing Hiroto got(peak of mankind or whatever) to me at least it’s pretty clear that at point he was stronger than Shiba and probably the strongest sorcerer of his time(before he got kirked)

However, 18 years later, has Shiba surpassed him? He’s now being glazed by yura as the pinnacle of sorcery, and the hatshaku knew to avoid him on sight, neither of which are slouches on themselves

What do we think?

Yoshinojo even being able to move let alone rejoin the fight after the beating he got from Ariu in the previous chapter upscales his durability imo.

My theory about how Itazura works.

I think Itazura is similar to Star powers from My hero Academia.

It allows Shiba to freely manipulate any physical property about himself and whoever he touches, but this power has a limitation.

He can rewrite information that already exists, but he can't write new information. (He can't, for example, give powers to someone or give them wings).

And changing information about himself and other people don't means his body can handle the change. He can give himself super strengh to do a super punch, but his hand will break with the impact since his body is not suitable for that.

The myth that EBs are always stronger than Sorcerers has been proven false.

Ukizane is clearly above EB level and Hiroto's meteor affected the entire island.

Ariu runs the gauntlet, where does he stop?

R1: Chihiro and Sojo pictured (Ariu fights them individually. If it's too much for them, then make it a 1v2).

R2: Ariu vs Hiruhiko with Kumeyuri.

R3: Ariu vs Samura (Tobimune).

R4: Vs Magatsumi Yura (partial manifestation, blade not in hand).

Bonus 1: Kyora with storehouse + Magatsumi.

Bonus 2: Ariu vs Yura with Magatsumi in hand (the Yura that fought both Chihiro and Samura).

Ariu can use the datenseki shokoku soldiers/guardians that fought the irishima squad, for round 3 and bonus round 2.
