so i saw the tier list made by timely yidhari on twitter showing off how many main story chapters S2 characters appear in, and, while not exactly the same, it got me curious as to when the last time characters had fully voiced speaking lines were. so, i decided to do some research, and this is what i came up with. i believe these should all be mostly accurate, although there's always the possibility that i could be forgetting something. if there's something i'm forgetting, feel free to let me know down in the comments. anyways, some quick notes

- this tier list is listing the last time characters had fully voiced, spoken voice lines. characters may appear in later versions and have dialogue, but they won't actually be voiced. (for example, harumasa appeared in the recent wish filling station event and spoke, but his dialogue wasn't voiced). this is going off of the english version of the game, and i'm not sure if other languages may differ in regards to giving certain characters lines or not (if they do, feel free to let me know in the comments)

- 2.8 main story is self-explanatory. all of these characters appeared and had spoken voice lines in the main story patch

- ellen, grace, aria, and dialyn all appear and have spoken voicelines in the current ongoing bootopia event. this event is still ongoing, so it's worth keeping in mind that other characters do have the possibility of showing up and having voiced lines. i'm playing in american servers so i'm a day behind on the event, so if any developments have occurred that's resulted in other characters making voiced appearances, i wouldn't know

- nicole appears early on in 2.7's main story and is voiced before she's taken out of commission (pun not intended) by murphy's (or in this case, cissia's) law

- nangong, yinhu, fufu, yixuan, shunguang, koleda, anton, zhu yuan, seth, sunna, ben, and jane all appear and have voiced lines in the hotpot event. pulchra is saved from being way lower in this list by having voiced lines in the old friends, new commissions event

- astra, evelyn, nekomata, lycaon, rina, miyabi, yanagi, qingyi, trigger, soldier 11, hugo, vivian, lucia, and yuzuha all make voiced cameos at the end of the main story patch, wishing the proxies a happy gilded carrot day. banyue makes an appearance early on in the main patch and briefly chats with both aria and the proxy, and anby manages to sneak in a single voice line while youkai's broadcast is going live in lumina square

- seed appears and has voiced lines in 2.6's gravity cinema eent

- alice, manato, yidhari, and orphie/magus all have voiced lines while fighting during the climax of 2.5's main story

- while harumasa has made some cameos in later story events (tale of midsummer dreams, where dreams remain unfinished, wish filling station), he doesn't actually have any voiced dialogue in any of these appearances despite talking. as far as i can tell, the last actual voiced dialogue he's had in-game was a while back at the start of the season, during the first gravity cinema event

- soukaku and corin have genuinely gotten shafted as far as voiced lines go. both have had very minimal appearances in season 2 as a whole, and neither have had any voiced dialogue in a loooonng time as far as i'm aware. (funnily enough, corin makes an appearance in the old friends, new commissions event, and literally EVERY member of victoria housekeeping has voiced dialogue in it except for her.) technically speaking, i guess the last "voiced dialogue" both characters have gotten would be the dialogue both have during quality time when flower arranging. if you don't count that though, then as far as i'm aware, soukaku's last voiced dialogue would likely be in 1.4, in both the main story and events attached to it, and corin's would likely be even further back. i don't think she's actually had voiced dialogue (outside of updated quality time/wish event stuff) since like, version 1.1. i really hope roxy actually has connections to corin so we can bring her back into relevancy, cause man, going that long without any voiced dialogue is actually criminal
