Jio has silently reduced the duration of the 195 Rupee data pack from 90 days to 30 days only.

Do we have any better alternative now ?

Jio is selectively blocking 5g

Ive been mostly using the three month unlimited 5g plan, on that plan i didnt have any problem and i can use 5g whenever i want, but on the past month i recharged the 28day unlimited 5g plan, on the first 13 days i got 5g then its always 4g+ or 4g, i reinserted the sim, used airplane mode etc... but its always on 4g.

I thought it was an tower issue, until i checked other person who is also using jio getting 5g next to my phone 🫠.

In short on 28day plan i only get 5g on first 15 days. I guess they remove 5g accessibility when an certain data cap is reached,

My daily usage is like 3gb per day on 5g tbh, and even if my 28 day plan is not unlimited 5g, i should atleast get an 5g signal right ?

+1 month free is a scam ?

My local Jio AirFiber operator sent me the attached offer on WhatsApp. ( Attaching our WhatsApp conversation as well where he's tryna act confused and scam me )

The image advertises a 100 Mbps plan for ₹833 per month and says “3+1 month FREE”. The total price shown for 4 months is ₹3333.

But I don’t understand what is actually free here.

If the plan is ₹833 per month, then 833 × 4 = ₹3332. They are charging ₹3333 (even ₹1 extra). So how is one month free?

Also, my MyJio app is recommending a recharge at around ₹824 per month for my Jio AirFiber connection. So why would I choose this ₹833/month offer instead?

Is this just marketing wording for a 4-month prepaid pack? Or are there any extra benefits included that make this worthwhile?

Can someone explain what exactly is “free” here?

Best data plan for student

So I am a student, and I don't really need much data, I purchased the 1748 plan for a year, but it has no data, can I get Data with proper validity? ( I only need a few GB of data for basic WhatsApp, and checking timetables )

Before in Jio, there used to 1800 plan, which has 24 gb data, which was good for me, but since the data and voice plan seperate thing were there, it is all messed up, i forgot about the data and just did that recharge a few days ago.

Jio 195 plan

I used to recharge with the ₹448 plan for unlimited calling and the ₹195 add-on for 15GB of data with 90 days of validity. However, Jio has now reduced that validity from 90 days down to 30. Does anyone know of a cheaper plan for broadband users like me who only need a little bit of mobile data?

Transferring Jio eSIM from unusable iPhone to new one abroad

How can I activate Jio eSIM on a new iPhone in Europe after the older iPhone with eSIM got damaged & is unusable? Customer service says send details & documents by email which is done but they now say no email id is registered for the account. We enquired at a Jio office in India and they said the account owner needs to come in person though customer service said authentication can be done through video call. Now, they have asked me to go to another nearby Jio office and meet the Onboarding team there or come back to the same office on Monday at 4pm to meet the onboarding person. Anyone faced similar problem and were able to rectify it?
