I am a college student here sa city without parents support. Lately, I’m stressed cause I was terminated sa work. (working student) I have to pay my tuition na and kumapit ako sa online lending app. without further researching about it. I was able to loan 16k good enough to pay for my tuition last semester. but that app is a scam pala 23 pa supposedly due ko but ngayon palang they are texting me na to pay, wala rin silang response sa every email at call ko. my loan is supposedly 3 term pero they want it in full 23k. Napasubo ako dito. they are harassing me scaring me na e post nila ako and e chat nila sa fb. nag research ako and ang daming bad experiences about sa app na to. and literally nag post talaga sila. namamahiya. i don’t know what to do guys. I am so depressed. Di ko alam sino lalapitan ko meron naman akong pera dito pero di parin talaga enough to pay them. I’m scared to the point i am thinking of ending my life. nakakahiya na ang pag message nila sa mga contacts ko. Di na talaga ako makapag function ng mabuti. my parents are old enough naman na to know pa sa mga ganyang stressful na bagay pa. Help me guys anong pwede kung gawin?

I’ve spent my entire journey living by my parents' design. When they wanted me to become a nurse, I committed myself fully and passed the Board Exam on my first take. When they wanted me to pursue a Master’s degree, I enrolled immediately and am now nearly finished with my first semester. When they pushed for me to find a job, I exhausted every effort for months until I was finally accepted into the profession. Now, they expect me to take the NCLEX within this year.

​I have done everything for them, yet I feel I have no space for myself. At 23 years old, I am a practicing professional and a graduate student, but I am still scolded like a child if I choose to hang out and come home at 8 or 9 PM. It is exhausting to meet every major life milestone they set while being denied the simple freedom to enjoy my life and live for myself.

I just want to get this out here so that it will also act as a warning and babala to all people dito sa Iloilo City.

As the title says this is about catcallers. Of all ages, of all sexes and genders. Absolutely disgusting.

My wife and I are both studying our postgraduate courses in different schools here in the city. There have been so many incidents wherein my wife got catcalled by students from within the university, outside the university, inside the hotel she is living in... and that is absolutely not okay. Sorry, I am already calling it out here. But seriously? Law students, nursing students, senior high school students, medical students... just almost giving her uncomfortable and creepy stares, disgusting remarks like "sayang, kakatuli ko lang" while they are looking at my wife, or "paldo! sarap siguro pag umaalog yun." and even advances like "may boyfriend ka na? or asawa? oh meron? sige na one time lang, di need ma bal.an sang partner mo." and even one time ha, my wife told me that an unknown individual from a different university came to her university and TOOK A PICTURE OF HER FROM AFAR WITHOUT HER CONSENT. good thing her classmate saw this individual and chased him down. Turns out her classmate knows this person and that, take a guess, tada! may miga. Tapos baw sa kadamak gin pakita ya pa picture sang asawa ko sa kagrupo niya tapos naga comment nga "ang sarap." UGH!

LIKE SERIOUSLY? ITS PEOPLE LIKE THESE THAT FUEL MY DISAPPOINTMENT AND TOTALLY ABHOR THESE KIND OF PEOPLE. Imagine, senior high, old people, professionals alike.. Damak!

not only that. I also experienced that within my university as a medical student. "Hi! single ka? gwapo simo.. patilaw one time bi." or "may miga ka na? buenas siya guro kay feel ko dako imo..." AND THEY THINK THIS IS OKAY?? WHAT HAPPENED TO BASIC ETIQUETTE AND HUMAN DECENCY? Waay ni siguro kaagi disiplina.

This is the exact reason why I have been sort of a... "vigilante" in this kind of aspect. as someone who really loves my wife, I am really protective of her. I take note of every incident my wife experiences and I take note of mine. I just really hope there are people out here in Iloilo City who share my sentiment and disgust toward catcallers and they need to be put to shame for making other people uncomfortable. Sa mga kadamak na panghuna-huna.

What are your experiences? How did you handle them? Can there be any legal action toward these people?

short background lang sa friend ko. recently, bombarded ni siya sang damo2 na problems, especially sa school. and ma notice ko man nga dw wala na siya ga function properly, in short “gakalutang” na.

so this happened sa Northgrove nga branch nila. namakal siya and he used his tote para butangan sang mga baklon niya instead mag use sang basket/cart.

fast forward, naka bayad na and all. sang manug guwa na siya, gin sundan siya sang guard and asked kung pwede ma check iya bag and he voluntarily did. tapos may nakita na deodorant sa bag niya nga wala mabayran. and he defended himself nga basi na overlook niya lang kag wala siya kadumdom nga nag kuha siya gale sang amo tu. kay indi man siya mag voluntarily pa check sang bag niya if true nga may gin kawat siya and kung may gina tago siya. and it is a plain big tote bag na wala pockets, so wala gin sang pwede taguan. and knowing man, clouded gidman ang utok sang friend ko sini as what I’ve said kay damo siya gina isip. and kilala ko man ni siya and indi ni siya kawatan or shoplifter.

so he keep on defending himself and even insisted na bayran nalang niya, kay besides kasarang man siya mag bayad and mas dako man ang total sang gin bayran niya nga gin pamakal niya compared sa price sang deodorant. pero gin dala siya sa office sang idk basi manager tu sang branch and gin storya siya, and they even checked sa mga items nga gin bakal ni sang friends ko and said “basi ang ***** nga ni wala mo man ni gin bayran/gin kawat mo lang ha.” and nag insist siya na mabayad nalang siya kay kaya ya man bayran. but gin sukot siya nila sang 3,000 for settlement na para indi na kuno pag report sa police ang incident. and ang tone nila the way sila mag hambal is daw gapang threaten sila. they even took pictures of him para kuno i-send sa ila other branches kay para kuno mag halong sila sa akon friend (???!!) and my friend have no choice but to pay instead, kay gina threaten siya na ireport kuno sa police.

he felt so helpless kagina, he was shaking the entire time. ang tono pagid sang mga personnel mag storya saiya gina threaten siya. and feel niya nga dw gin treat siya as criminal nga indi man siya amo sina. and dala man guro sa damo nga problema nga gina pas an niya, muna dw distracted siya.

I just want to ask kung amo gidman ni ang protocol? nga pabayron gidman sang 3,000 for settlement???? instead of pabayad ang item when in fact kasarang man siya mag bayad kay dako pa gne ang price sang items nga gin bayran niya compare sa deodorant.

hello po, i just want to ask po ang complete list of requirements po for enrollment bs pharma. Upcoming 1st year po ako.

hindi po kasi sumasagot ang registrar. I already emailed them po last April 25 and wala po talaga silang respond. even sa call po wala pong sumasagot.

also po I heard na need magpasa ng medical laboratories and med cert. Do I need to submit another medical laboratories and med cert if kinuha po nang interviewer po last time na nag interview po ako, huhu di po kasi binalik unlike sa mga classmates ko po.
