Crimson desert and Pragmata are both 6-7/10 games to me. With very big flaws.

Crimson desert got terrible pacing, story, ui, controls, it's a mess. Open world exploration my ass. You gotta play like 50% of the story first or the world is empty. I tried it for almost 30 horus and I don't like basically anything about it.. even combat is really weird and mid..

Pragmata?! Nice story and setting. Great combat idea but it doesn't hold up for 10 hours. It was really repetitive and boring by the end. And let's not pretend the story is anything new. It's kinda been there done that story. Best quality about this game are characters and the fact that protagonist is a normal guy who doesn't hate children which is what you would expect from this game. But by the end I was so tired of playing it. The encounters were so repetitive.

Now I am seeing similar opinions on Saros. I've not played this one myself just yet but i loved returnal and from what I am seeing - this is returnal reskinned but kinda a bit worse. Not going to comment on that any more.

So I am not saying that they are always right or anything. I just am noticing (myself) the fact that single player games overhyping is real. Normal, good, decent 7/10 games get overhyped into the stratosphere. How can any reviewer give CD or Pragmata 9/10?! It's a job of reviewer to describe all pros and cons of a game and that's what I find in those reviews. meanwhile the whole internet is screaming "goty, best game ever" about those normal 7/10 games. To me, CD is even worse but that's probably just me.

I wouldn't pay a single cent to sub to IGN, but I get that free month thing from humble bundle, and I use it once, and then IGN obviously wants to charge me the next month automatically, but guesss what, I use a credit card that has no money on it, so s*ck it IGN.

And then guess what, I can't use the next free code from humble bundle to renew my ign, because I can't put it anywhere. All I can do is cancel my sub or renew my sub by adding a new payment method. Fck off IGN, U ain't gonna get my money !

And all this for what? For "rewards" that says free games, but there wasn't any free game since like a year, and there is like 1 or 2 giveaways of a steamdeck or something that only American's can enter and win, because f*ck Europeans and Asians and Africans, right?

F*ck off IGN !

Comments Section

Are awful. Man children arguing which platform is better until it devolves into name calling and bickering. Same spam comments over and over. Not to mention bots who make $1000 a week doing blah blah. Is there even a way to fix this or is it the price to pay for being part of a gaming community

So the leaks about Halo 2 and 3 remakes being in active development got, me thinking less about the games themselves and more about how they'll actually sell them. Campaign Evolved is launching in 2026 as a standalone campaign-only release on Xbox, PC, and PS5 with Game Pass day one, and if the remakes follow the same formula, you've got three separate releases for what's essentially the same trilogy MCC already covers. I get that the visual overhaul and the reported extra Brute prequel missions are a genuine selling point, though the, mission details are still pretty vague from what's leaked so far, but the value question starts to get awkward pretty fast. Game Pass day one would probably be the move that makes the most sense for accessibility, especially, since MCC is already on there and people are used to playing Halo without paying per entry. With Game Pass now sitting at 40 million plus subscribers, Microsoft has even more reason to, lean into that model and use these remakes as retention tools rather than standalone revenue plays. But there's also a version of this where the remakes aren't included at launch and Game Pass subscribers, feel like they're paying twice in a way, once for the sub and then again on top of that. Curious what people here reckon, would you rather see these hit Game Pass on launch or would you actually prefer a one-time buy so the value feels cleaner?

I updated my game to be more of a Survivorlike BulletHeaven Roguelite - What do you think?

Hello everyone!

A few days ago I did a post here to check out my game and trailer.

Since then I received a lot of feedback and fixed UI scaling issues but also did some huge changes making the game more like a bullet heaven, survivor-like, horde-like.

The game is in open playtest and I just pushed the new version. Try it out for free, no keys needed. It's on Steam.

Please get back to me with any feedback.

A gladiator management sim where you recruit, train, equip, and send fighters into real-time arena battles. Every decision matters because death is permanent, and one bad call can wipe out your best gladiator. Build your roster, manage finances, develop traits, and see if your school survives long enough to dominate the arena. Game started on Itch and gave me a real foundation, you can still find it today. Also if you want to check the latest:
