The pc port of Relaoded is terrible. Textures load slowly, constant stuttering and even dlss is broken. quality runs faster than performance... and that's on a 5080 / 9800x3d

Of course this is on nvme. All other new games run great.

I have the game on ps5 pro and finished it there perfectly fine. Runs great.

I upgraded my pc recently so wanted to play it on pc with mouse and keyboard and 240fps... yeah.... Steam refund it is unless someone got some solution?

I am so disappointed. Ultimate was always broken on pc.. so maybe reloaded ... nope. still somehow broken.

I am so happy we finally solved monitors

For 20 years we had lcd tech which was never good. Ips came a long way but… I always hated characteristics of lcds. Now we have oleds, 240hz, 500hz, gsync, hdr, 4k, ultrawide and even choice of matte or glossy.

Compare just to 2020 and its a whole new world.

I am so happy. We made it. And I am surprised that even the pricing is good. Same price lcds were few years ago.

There are still issues to solved but it’s like peanuts compared to annoyances of the past.

Rocking xg32ucwmg myself.

Tiny PSA for SIlent hill 2 players with new DLSS 4.5 framegen

I've been experimenting with new DLSS on 5080 (new to this, only got it few months ago, big jump from 3080 which had no framegen at all) and I am loving this gpu.

I was very skeptical about framegen originally but even just fixed fg usually looks great. All except for Silent Hill 2.

I've tried Fixed 2-3-4, Dynamic x6, vsync, framecap and nothing. But I found a solution.

-You have to disable HDR. this game FG is broken with HDR.

-Also disable in-game motion blur to fix artifacting around the hair.

With that done, even x6 (like on the screenshot) looks great in motion. I only get 35-40ms in this scene but it didn't capture. This is 4k with dlss performance (M) and B framegen.

Anyone knows if other games have HDR issue with framegen?

Edit: yes I know it’s bad with fps going above 240hz but I am just experimenting. Honestly I don’t see any tearing. But setting target to 200 helps to stay in gsync range more often
