Hi everyone, I recently bought this aritizia set. I bought a matcha drink, and was super unlucky.
My drink spilt onto the pants on some parts.
I washed the pants, hoping it will go away, but it didn’t.
Some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Looking for suggestions for how to clean this giant (over 6ft tall and very heavy) stuffed Snorlax.
The cover isn't removable. I think some of the discoloration is water spots from when I tried to use a small green bissell to clean it. I tried rubbing a baking soda paste, but that didn't work. Please help!
Edited to add that this is so big it doesn't even fit my car. I don't think any dry cleaner could handle something this size.
Mother's Day next month. My mom is 50, still works, still runs circles around me. But she's been complaining that her old upright vacuum is too heavy and a pain to haul around.
Looking for something lightweight and simple — no complicated apps. Budget around $150–$250. Mostly hardwood, few rugs, one cat.
Anyone bought a cordless vac for their mom that she actually loved? Specific models appreciated.
Recently, the battery in my Dyson vacuum cleaner died. When I decided to replace it, I discovered that a new replacement costs $99.99—a cost that is simply too high. This effectively drove up the overall cost of owning the vacuum.
I’m not sure where I can find cheaper replacement Battery or if I should just look into vacuum cleaners from other brands instead.
This is not a joke.
I'm in touch with a variety of robotics companies that are looking for people like us who enjoy cleaning either professionally or for our own homes and selves.
The idea is that you record yourself cleaning your home (with a head-mounted camera / iphone), and then submit your video data. The data is then cleaned for removing any personal information, cut and edited to only focus on useful chores, and annotated in order to be provided to AI / robotics companies who would use this data to improve their models.
It's a cool new type of work that can be fun side income or just additional income while you're already cleaning as part of your work.
I am happy to send details for anyone interested - please DM!
I’m a cleaner in Portugal. My clients have a new place- they had a small leak in the roof, now fixed. The bathroom floors are stained with this, I think it may be the finish on the bamboo on the ceiling (picture included)
I didn’t want to try any chemicals without a little advice first. Doesn’t come off with normal mopping with floor cleaner.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Hi guys!! So I’m doing my first cleaning tmw.
I started this as a side job to save up for my friend to come out from new York this summer(I’m in Chicago area and I’m paying for the ticket and a bunch of other stuff) and I’m trying to save up about 1,100.
I put up an ad on Facebook for my local community and this woman reached out to me.
She has asked me to clean her house which includes 3 bedrooms(2 of them being the kids rooms), a kitchen, 1.5 baths, and a living room.
She wants to pay me 160 at the least. She said her house is a level 6 out of 10 mess. I’m doing the walk through at 9 am and we will discuss official pricing after she requests certain things and she’s open to suggestions. I am able to work till 5;30 pm the latest. I want to charge her a little more because of the time (the starting price) that it will take me. I feel kinda bad cause it’s midnight right now and I feel bad raising the price since it’s pretty late at night and I don’t want to spring it on her tomorrow. She also is going to leave a tip but idk how much and I’m not gonna ask. She is paying me in cash and will be out of the house to let me do my thing after the walkthrough. She is very nice and willing to adjust the price after the walkthrough. Is it bad that I’m hoping she suggests 200+ for this? I’m going to be there for 8.5 hours and I don’t wanna sell myself short. I don’t have much experience in this business but I’ve cleaned family members houses and friends before this and they’ve payed me like 50-100 because it was way less time and legitimately wanted only a basic wipe down. Please lmk what I should do!!!!!!
I’m using her supplies as well.
Also any tips for this clean? She wants a bit of a deep clean for the bathroom and her kitchen. Im kinda nervous and hoping I do well!!!!!!!
She’s willing to pay extra for services like oven cleanings, grout removal, and fridge cleaning.
I live in student accommodation and would really like my kitchen floors to look nice.
I sweep and mop but there are many marks / stains that don’t go away.
I know that sanding will probably do the trick however i don’t have the equipment nor do i have the money for it.
Is there any other way to take care of this?
p.s this pic is right after the floor got a mop
Is this normal??
So we have a newish Airstream and a not as new Australian Shepherd who leaves hair despite regular brushing. We had what my mom used to call an “electric broom” but it was just woefully underpowered. Storage always being the issue in an RV we have space in a wardrobe for it but not for our big upright or even the Sebo canister vacuum. My budget is pretty open. I’d prefer not to spend $800 on it but I’d consider it. Looking at this one from our local Target. https://www.target.com/p/shark-rocket-ultra-light-corded-stick-vacuum-purple-hv301-pr/-/A-94779671 Advice?
Trying to clean my Oven, I inherited from my mother.
it needs some strong cleaning as the inside has small grease splatter stains.
I tried using baking soda but it didn't do much so I'm thinking of trying a non toxic degreaser,
I'm afraid that I won't be able to rinse the surface off enough after words so I want the least dangerous solution as possible.
any advice?
I’m in the process of moving out and I see this stain that looks like it was from a moving box that was set on the counter. Idk how it would even stain it but I’ve tried everything! Baking soda paste, alcohol, dawn soap, and dishwasher detergent. I believe it’s quartzite. Any help would be appreciated! TYIA!
So we bought a house that has all wood and tile flooring. We have a Mastiff, American bully, and 2 dachshund. I'm looking to purchase a cordless vacuum and steam mop. Any recommendations would be nice.
I work long and unpredictable hours and my building has one washer and one dryer for twelve units. The dryer takes three cycles to actually finish anything. I spent months trying to make laundromat drop-off work and the two-day turnarounds kept not lining up with when I needed clothes, which for a work-heavy week is a real problem. I started comparing pickup services specifically on turnaround and real coverage area, not just "we serve your city" marketing. The thing I kept running into was services claiming coverage and then having issues on the first order, or same-day being technically true only if you book before a cutoff that isn't advertised clearly.
The other thing I looked for was whether the service ran their own operations or was a marketplace matching you with whoever's available. The inconsistency I had early on tracked almost exactly with the contractor model, where quality varies by who shows up. When I need something the same day I use No Scrubs and they pickup from my door, and their folding quality has been consistent across multiple orders. I use Rinse for bigger loads and it has also been consistent. If you're looking for something similar the questions I'd ask upfront are: what's the actual cutoff for same-day, do they own their operations or is it a marketplace, and can you add care instructions per item.
I've been hired to clean a family friends' house this week, and I'm looking for any tips on efficiency/anything I might not think to do. I've literally never seen this house before, but from what I'm told it's a relatively big place.
Hi everyone, I just got these chairs second hand from marketplace, and there are some stains on the chairs and I want to clean them anyways cause who knows what’s been on them. Any ideas how I can clean them? I don’t have a vacuum or an upholstery cleaner but I’m thinking of getting something to clean them but idk how. Any advice would be appreciated!!
