This is a random thought but what is up with Hot Topic’s obsession with Death Note? I like the anime but I wish they put this much effort into other anime (especially ones that are currently popular).

I just got hired to what i believe is a low volume store. They straight up told me its very part time which is completely fine for my current situation. Im just wondering how long is the average shift and how many hours a week do people typically get? Should I expect 3-2/5 hour shifts a week or more short spread out shifts?
hiii i know this is probs a wild ask but i figured it wouldn’t hurt! when i was in 6th grade (probs around 2016) i went to hot topic with my mom and got what ended up being the best lip gloss i’ve ever used in my whole life, but i can’t remember the brand name ☹️ please excuse my horrible finger drawing but it was a light pink sheer lip gloss with a black cap that was shaped like a cat and had a cute little cat face on it! i think the brand also makes mascara that might still be sold at hot topic but i was wondering if anyone might know what the brand is, thank you so so much!!

I’m trying to check out which comes to over $80 and tried to use 2 $20 off $40 Hot Cash plus my $20 in rewards but for some reason it won’t let me use more than one Hot Cash even though my total is still over $40 (about $50 minus shipping and tax)🫠

I was looking at these blind boxes on hot topic and before hitting purchase decided to check online if there was a better price. Only to see that on BoxLunch the same item is cheaper? Makes me wonder if this is the same for other items as well, if so might be switching over to mainly BoxLunch
Hi guys, my first day is Sunday and I’m pretty nervous. A little context: I’ve worked at Box Lunch for 1 year 11 months and I’ve finally gathered the courage to ask for a transfer. So yeah, the store I was at was a bit toxic and I did good at sales on the floor but was always micromanaged and told I was too anxious or awkward during the rebuttals at the end to upsell. Do you guys have any pitches to share? So the welcome ones, BOGOs, sign ups, and add on pitches at the end? My BL store emphasized the 4.0 upt and $40 minimum and I hated upselling when someone came in for only one item. I have a few but idk if hot topic is all that different… anything helps! Even tips that aren’t related to the pitches. Thank you!

I am confused. I downloaded this app around that time frame. But I look at my app just a few minutes and it's telling me I've been a member since this year. Which isn't true???

I wrote a review for the first time today and at the end of the review you can label what you’d like to be named. I didn’t realize the name was not temporary. Every time I try to write a new review, it’s under the same display name and does not give me the option to change it. Does anyone know how to change your review display name?

i tried to place an order using all of my hot cash and rewards about 20 mins ago, and for whatever reason my card declined. no biggie, was just gonna try again with a different card. however when i went to go replace the order, my hot cash AND 10 dollars in rewards were gone! they say "redeemed" in my account history but the order never actually placed, so they haven't actually been redeemed. has this happened to anyone and how did you go about solving it? is this something that customer service can fix for me, or am i just screwed?
