IM TIRED of top and bottom being used like a gender or sexuality.

Firstly it seems like the only attention I’m receiving is from bots I can sit on the app for 24 hours and the only messages I’ll receive are bots. Monday, I got home from class and I was naturally horny after a morning of learning, so I hop on the app. Literally 5 minutes after I’m on I get a message from this account that I’ve somewhat chatted with a few times but the conversation tends to go nowhere because he always stops responding (a whole separate rant can be made on this). Then at some point during the ride his profile shows as inactive. I thankfully made the executive decision right then and there to just turn the uber around and go back home because this isn’t the first time this has happened to me…

Here we are 2, almost 3 days later and this man hasn’t even been on his account since then. Literally wtf!!! It’s just so annoying cause I wasted time and money for no reason. Like idk why this happened and this has happened multiple times before. I had at least one guy be honest and tell me as I’m on the way that he found someone else who is closer and although it’s still shitty at least he told the truth and didn’t just go ghost like this guy and others or block me like someone else.

I could put up with the shittiness of Grindr as an app if the guys were literally just better, hell not even all of them just a good 25%. I’ve never questioned why straight women say “men ain’t shit” because we share similar experiences, but God damn after this I have to scream, MEN AINT SHIT! Let’s not even talk about the fact that nobody wants to converse anymore, everyone just wants to hop into bed (if they can actually host) go to the park, go to someone’s car now. Like omg can I get to know you before I put your dick in my mouth???

I am open to believing it could just be the area I’m in, but I’ve also lived in this area on and off since 2018 and it wasn’t like this before. Something has shifted and it’s shifted for the worse. I don’t know if this rant makes sense, I don’t know if anyone will care, but I’m just so annoyed 😭 Maybe I’m just too old for this now? I know that’s not true cause I’m in my mid 20s but jeez it’s hard out here.
