Practice gate pyqs for ee and ece in a "Ditto" Gate exam interface

Best Feature, after every exam completion, you can retry your mistake i.e whatever in that exam you have given wrong and unanswered you can attempt which makes your practice much stronger

And many students ignore the visual stamina, as per my experience while giving gate exam i felt the eye strain and felt that i am loosing concentration, as i am not used to constantly glare at white screen that to for 3 hours, so i thought why not practice pyq in gate exam interface

we practice as well as build our visual stamina

Sharing a KLA opening for M.Tech grads (25+ LPA)

Got this opening through a referral network and am sharing it here because there are apparently a LOT of openings.

KLA (a semiconductor company whose technology is used in stuff like laptops, phones, wearables, EVs, etc.) is hiring fresh M.Tech grads.

Eligibility:

  • M.Tech from IIT / IIIT / IISc / NIT
  • 2024 or 2025 batch
  • 2026 batch may also work if graduating within a month
  • 0 to 2 years experience
  • All branches eligible
  • Even candidates without directly relevant workex might be considered

Apply here: www.elitmus.com/jobs/33291

From what I heard, hiring numbers are pretty high right now.

Also, there’s an incentive attached:

  • If the referred candidate gets selected, the candidate gets a Thailand trip
  • Referrer gets ₹50,000 bonus

If you apply, please use referral ID: 5528723

Like many of you, I spent countless hours preparing for the GATE 2026 exam. We all knew it would be tough, but we expected it to be fair.
Instead, we’ve seen substantial reports of cheating and irregularities across centers. From suspicious topper data to lack of basic monitoring, the integrity of this year’s exam is a joke. Even worse? The response from IIT Guwahati has been absolute silence on RTI replies.

By staying silent, they aren't just ignoring "a few complaints"—they are telling every honest aspirant that our hard work doesn't matter.

I’m not telling you to ruin your career. But if you have multiple offers, consider prioritizing other IITs (like IIT Madras, Bombay, or Delhi) or IISc over IITG. We need to show them that we are not just "ranks" and "fees"—we are the stakeholders of this system.

Every year, IITG attracts the country's best minds simply because of its brand name. They coast on the prestige of being an "Old IIT" while ignoring the very people who give the institute its value—the students.

My goal is simple: I want to give them the worst pool of GATE toppers they have ever seen.
If they don’t value the integrity of the exam, they don't deserve the caliber of the students who cracked it honestly.

I'm not confident at all..

I am a 4th semester Electrical Engineering student. I am preparing for GATE EE 2027. My target is rank under 800. Here is my situation.

My constraints:

  1. I have a 4-hour daily bus commute to college and back.

  2. I am in a very low-tier college. The lab equipment is poor, and most faculty members do not teach well.

  3. I have completed very little syllabus so far. The only topic I have finished is Transformers.

  4. On college days (Monday to Saturday), I can study only 2 hours of deep study at home. On Sundays (no college), I can study up to 12 hours.

My college timings are 9:40-4 pm , i start from home around 7:30, start at college at 4:30. I commute via college bus.

I'm not well off financially so please refrain from saying " go to hostel/pg" please.

My problems:

  1. How do I utilize my 4-hour travel time for studying? I cannot function without 8 hours of sleep, so late nights are not an option.

  2. I have become accustomed to sleeping on the bus. Whenever I try to study on the bus, I feel sleepy within 30 minutes. How do I break this habit?

  3. Should I follow crash courses (short, focused) or full-length lecture series (detailed, time-consuming) for subjects like Power Systems and Power Electronics? I am still confused and am not confident at all

Guys this is the shortlist and the interview dates released by IIT delhi, I have applied for the normal 2 year mtech course through gate score and I don't see any slot for that, so does normal mtech not conduct any interviews and is directly through gate score? Cause I also satisfy the shortlisting criteria and I haven't received any mail either

I studied in the top most college in my state. I didn’t want to go for private jobs or placements. I realised this late. I gave gate 2026 and hardly qualified. I have two options. Take a drop for 2027 or join a normal college for MTech for the two years and later apply for jobs.please give advice 😭

You look at IITs, top ranks, good jobs, successful people… and somewhere inside, you want that life too.
But the moment you dream bigger than your current reality, self doubt enters:

  • “Maybe I’m not capable.”
  • “Maybe people like me don’t reach there.”
  • “Maybe I’m aiming too high.”

Let me give you the same motivation that I received in 2013, my mentor showed me a scene from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag that stayed with me for years.

Video

Milkha Singh sees elite athletes wearing the India blazer. The respect, pride, and identity attached to it hits him deeply. For a moment, he tries wearing one of those blazers — not because he wants to steal it, but because somewhere inside, he wants to feel what it’s like to become someone important.

But then reality hits hard.

People insult him.
Call him a thief.
Humiliate him for even thinking he belongs there.

And honestly, many people experience this exact feeling in life.

Then comes the most powerful part of the scene.

The coach stops everyone and says:

“India ka coat chori karke nahi milta… kamana padta hai.
Mehnat karni padti hai.
Uske layak banna padta hai.”

And then he looks at Milkha Singh and says:

“Harayega Sher Singh Rana ko?
Pata hai kaise daudta hai woh?
Goli ki tarah jaata hai… hawa ki tarah daudta hai woh.
Hai dum tere mein?”

What makes this dialogue powerful is not just the challenge.

Sher Singh Rana represents every intimidating thing in life:

  • competition
  • fear
  • self doubt
  • people who seem far ahead of you

And when the coach says:
“Goli ki tarah daudta hai woh…”

He is reminding Milkha how difficult the challenge really is.

But after hearing all this, Milkha still replies:

“Han… main haraunga.”

That dialogue was never just about running. It was about belief.

It was about whether you have the courage to believe in yourself before the world does.

I think every serious aspirant reaches this phase:

  • when results are not visible
  • confidence starts dropping
  • people around move ahead
  • and overthinking slowly kills action

What I realized later is that growth is silent for a long time.

  • You keep studying.
  • Keep struggling.
  • Keep improving.
  • And nothing seems to change.

But internally, you are becoming stronger.

Years later, when I got my GATE 2016 rank, I realized something it was never one day of motivation that changed my life.

It was consistency, silent effort and continuing even when nothing exciting was happening

Sometimes the biggest battle is not against competition.

It is against the voice inside your head that says:
“Maybe you are not capable.”

Don’t lose to that voice too early.

I completed BTech in 2017 and studied 1 year for Gate after college..I got rank in top 500 and also this central government JE job whose exam I gave side by side..i joined that job in 2018 but the work always felt so low level for a BTech person.. I targeted higher exams with the job ... reached interview stage of many but unable to convert..Now my age is over but I strongly wanted to change the job and day by day feel too low and hopeless in this job...I gave GATE EC this year too hoping to join Mtech and getting placed in a VLSI company but was never clear about it ..Now I have got a good rank around 200 but listening of recent placement trends in VLSI i couldn't gather the courage to leave my job and pursue Mtech although I have saved good amount of money and my family is not dependent on me..Other option I have is preparing for state level exams while in this job or preparing for departmental exam but that has very limited posts and is not fair.I am unable to decide what to do.please help me
