Ah yes, the old Trump is Jesus argument...

For context, Paula White is essentially one of Trump's "faith advisors." She is the head of a national faith initiative. She plucked Fort Worth's own king cuck Nate Schatzline from TX-93 (a State Assembly slot) to serve on this initiative with her. Paula, who is perhaps most famous for her strike and strike and strike and strike video (look it up), spent this week comparing Trump to Jesus at various events, including in this clip.

If you are unfamiliar with Schatzline, i.e. the local tie to this story, he is also a pastor at Mercy Culture Church, which has two locations in 817. If you are unfamiliar with them, well, I cannot help you except to point you to Google. Just off video in this clip are Landon and Heather Schott, who run that church and are currently constructing a three-story dorm off 35 and Yucca for victims of sex trafficking. Seems like a great idea on face, perhaps, but there were numerous issues during the run-up to that, including "Where will the women come from?" and "Do these people at Mercy have a good track record with those who have been marginalized in society?"

Mercy people will also be doing a Sunday sermon at the White House in mid-May.

Some people look at this and love it, and I do know people in Ft. Worth who do think Trump is akin to a Jesus-like figure. If that's your boat, awesome and you're entitled to it. (Murica!) Personally I kinda think Fort Worth becoming a hotbed of Christian nationalism is maybe not the best look, especially when local "leaders" are willing to hand this church whatever they want in a given time frame, but ... perhaps I am in a minority here.

And again, I realize those snugly nestled in a three-car garage in Viridian could care less about any of this. I'm not really trying to change opinions. I'm just trying to show you the stuff happening around us.

After a devastating loss in SD9 and a BLUE WAVE in primaries, Tarrant County GOP reassures their base "GOTT MIT UNS". Bo urges the right to be ok with being called Nazi & racist, Tim Davis looted public schools with legal fees stealing education from children, O'Hare racially gerrymandered our maps.

REJECT THE BILLIONAIRES. VOTE IN EVERY LOCAL ELECTION.

All the Tarrant County GOP chairs share one trait, being completely morally bankrupt and representing a resurgence in Klan values. The GOP elects the most hateful people in what they see as the safest elections. We hold these truths to be self evident.

Leigh claims to know the will of God and claims to have the moral high ground, despite implementing hate-thy-neighbor anti-Christ policies and using Jesus as a personal shield for their hate speech. She still has her Trump endorsement pinned in every social media, endorsed by the pedophile she worships. Electing Leigh will lead to policies and systems of structural violence for students, teachers, foreigners, LGBTQ, Muslims, and anyone not cis white Christian. She has largely funded by the west oil billionaires with pro-racism pro-bigotry policies, voucher scam PACs like Dan Patrick's group, and a PAC tied to Elon.

Epstein pedo advisor Steve Bannon asked Leigh about the recent American citizen deaths in Minnesota. Leigh said she and "her constituents" fully support law enforcement. Leigh never had constituents, she lost because she would attack our school boards with voucher shills along with True Texas Project so Tim Davis could loot them with legal fees. Her only interest in Christian Nationalist control, hate and fear culture wars. She lives in a 4 million dollar Southlake house and does not represent the average person.

Leigh Wambsganss sees no irony in saying, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." While completely destroying her own GOP (elephant), with Nazi sound bites and hate speech.

Texas Congressman's birthright citizenship comments raise constitutional process questions

Rep. Keith Self’s (TX-03) comments come as birthright citizenship is being discussed again at the Supreme Court. The debate itself isn’t new—but the bigger issue is how something like this would actually be changed.

This focuses on current law, the arguments on both sides, and why the constitutional process matters just as much as the policy outcome.

Recommendations wanted for a place that serves cherry milkshakes made with real cherries

Yes, I own a blender. No, I don't want to make the milkshake myself. The Dairy Queen locations near me used to make their cherry shakes with maraschino cherries, but nowadays they use syrup. Ideally it would be somewhere that serves them in classic milkshake glasses while also leaving the metal mixing cup.

North of Loop 820 preferred. Thank you in advance!

Donation pickup in the area?

Hello, I’m doing some spring cleaning and I have clothing and other miscellaneous stuff I want to donate. I’m aware that VVA does curbside pickup but is there any others that do the same in the general FTW area?
