05 Ford Taurus

Hi first post ever I think, I just got this junker of a Taurus for about 2k and I want to make it a junkyard style build or rat rod idk what to call it but any advice would be welcome, I’m fairly new to mechanics, I came from heavy duty looking to get into automotive for a hobby and figured this would be a good start

I found my sedan twin!

I found another 1997 ford Taurus with silver frost metallic in the sonic parking lot. You can see some of the similarities and differences between wagon and sedan.

2014 Ford Taurus Police interceptor

I recently bought a Ford Taurus Police Interceptor. The rear passenger seat belts weren't fully installed. I am needing 3 seatbelt receivers. However, I am unsure where to buy them. Any suggestions?

Help. 2013 Ford Taurus

I recently topped off my coolant reservoir with the ford orange as specified. I filled it up to the cold line and now I checked today and it’s about an inch or two below the line. I checked my oil and it seems to have an orange tint on the dipstick, oil cap, and cams. Has anyone had an orange tint to their oil before. Neither the oil nor the coolant is milky or frothy. Oil is still oily and coolant is still orange with tiny little black specs in it. Hoping I don’t have to replace a water pump but want to get others opinions

I got a PO353 code so I replaced the Fuel Injector suspected to be failing and I also added new spark plugs and wires. It was starting before I changed it although running really rough. Now it won’t start at all or show me any codes. I’m somewhat lost and any advice would be greatly appreciated. 07 ford Taurus 3.0 V6

A while back I posted here asking if anyone could recommend a good brand of replacement hood lift supports. The hood lift supports in my 14 SEL were getting weak and I didn't trust them anymore. In cold weather the hood would drop right back down. My post received no replies.

Five weeks ago I purchased and installed a pair of FCS hood lift supports and have been pleased with them. I check the fluid levels once a week and these hood lift supports work great.

The part number is FCS 86560. RockAuto has them for $11.84 each. I recommend them if you're in need of hood lift supports.

2014 Taurus SE. I found this yesterday. I've owned the car outright for almost 3 years. Bought it from a dealership with cash. It blinks red and green. Is this a tracker? If so, how can I remove it? Best pics I could get.

2003 Ford Taurus SES 3.0L V6

SRS Light started flashing at me a couple days ago, local diagnostic confirmed it was clockspring needing replacement which is usually not a huge deal... if your car isn't over 20 years hold 🫣

Part is discontinued literally everywhere, no one makes it anymore.

I can only find it on EBay as used OEM (so far the leading choice) or for wildly expensive from sketchy websites.

Does anyone have any experience with installing used oem clocksprings?

I know it's not ideal but it may be my only option to HOPEFULLY get a working airbag, because it's not going to deploy in its current state.

Or should I try to keep searching for new oem? (If anyone has any leads on where to find something like this for a reasonable price PLEASE let me know) I have a local mechanic willing to do the work I just don't want to put someone else in danger for this stupid car.

The EBay seller claims they center and test all clock springs, but I don't know much about the Clockspring to know what that entails and if it's even a valid claim.

(Seller is Pro Steering Columns in SATX if anyone has experience with them either)

I'm looking for maybe leads on New OEM clocksprings

and Information/Personal experiences installing Used OEM clocksprings or parts from this company.

Thank you in advance!

Bro I have a 2015 SHO and two keys neither of these keys have a key ring or lanyard on them because the provided hole on the key is straight up ass. Not only is it angled towards the buttons, but it is sooo tight that a standard ring is incapable of being on without looking stupid or feeling uncomfortable. I’m a minimalist with my keys and I don’t like a lot of gabagoo on my keys.

Does anyone have suggestions and or post your keys and send me an idea.
