2003 Ford Taurus SES 3.0L V6
SRS Light started flashing at me a couple days ago, local diagnostic confirmed it was clockspring needing replacement which is usually not a huge deal... if your car isn't over 20 years hold 🫣
Part is discontinued literally everywhere, no one makes it anymore.
I can only find it on EBay as used OEM (so far the leading choice) or for wildly expensive from sketchy websites.

Does anyone have any experience with installing used oem clocksprings?
I know it's not ideal but it may be my only option to HOPEFULLY get a working airbag, because it's not going to deploy in its current state.
Or should I try to keep searching for new oem? (If anyone has any leads on where to find something like this for a reasonable price PLEASE let me know) I have a local mechanic willing to do the work I just don't want to put someone else in danger for this stupid car.
The EBay seller claims they center and test all clock springs, but I don't know much about the Clockspring to know what that entails and if it's even a valid claim.
(Seller is Pro Steering Columns in SATX if anyone has experience with them either)
I'm looking for maybe leads on New OEM clocksprings
and Information/Personal experiences installing Used OEM clocksprings or parts from this company.
Thank you in advance!
