Radio station movie

So I know I saw a movie at least 20 years ago where they had a radio station playing and it had a line similar to “not only do we only play the greatest songs of all time, we only play the greatest parts of the greatest songs of all time” and then went on to play the drum sequence from “in the air tonight” and maybe a couple lines from “sister Christian”. I have googled and asked every movie fan I know but no luck. Any help? Please and thank you!

Mechanical Spiders?

Hi All, I am trying to find a movie which I watched when I was a kid in the late 80's I would say. All I can remember from it was these weird mechanical spider things that were trying to kill people (Kind of like the ones that were in the episode of Stargate (Replicators I think they are called). Now in the film i am not sure if they were meant to be spiders, crabs or what but its the only thing that I remember.

Please help me find this movie!

It is possibly from the 70’s and I saw this movie on TV when I was a kid. Probably saw it on tv in the 80s. The only thing I remember is the final scene. The actor (Male) is in a hospital bed in a catatonic state. Eyes open. The hospital staff believes he is in a coma and is in the room discussing his fate. They say, If he could just blink or make some sort of movement to show them a sign that he is still in there they wouldn’t pull the plug. (Or send him to a lobotomy.) The audience hears his inner monologue as he’s screaming telling them he is in fact alive and in there. Screaming! The hospital staff walks away as they are convinced he is gone. The shot stays on the catatonic actor in the hospital bed lying motionless…except…we then see his one finger moving slightly. But it’s too late. Credits.

2000’s movie about a group of tween girls.

Okay so, at a random time almost every year, I remember this movie and watching it when I was a tween myself (10-13). I try to Google literally every possible phrase that’s along the lines of, “2000’s movie about a tween girl sleepover”. Here’s the details specifically of what I remember about the movie.

  1. The cast is a group of young girls between 10-13. I know there’s 2 blonde girls and maybe one curly haired girl?

  2. One of the main characters is a blonde girl and in the movie she’s auditioning to be a child actor.

  3. The girl lets one of her friends sleep at her house and wear her clothes bc her friend is sleeping in a car with her brother and mother. The mother lost her job and home.

  4. The movie was made in the 2000’s. Everything about it, down to the clothes and the cars is 2000’s.

  5. It’s a coming- of- age movie I believe bc one of the girls ends up getting her period. They all have a sleepover at the child actresses house. And they end up sleeping outside in the front yard in tents.

That’s the best I can recall it to my memory but I go crazzyyy trying to find this movie bc I think about it YEARLY and turn up with nothing lol. For an idea of how long it’s been, I’m 23 now.

Pleassseee help me identify this movie lol😭 It’s so nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood so much just want to put a name and movie to my memories of it!

AND ITS NOT THE SLEEPOVER MOVIE! The girls in the movie I’m looking for are younger. Not high school teens!

Movie from the 2000s

This is driving me INSANE and AI can’t figure it out

There’s a movie scene — probably early/mid 2000s. An American guy is talking to a snooty British guy (possibly a butler, concierge, maître d’, or servant-type character). The American calls him “dumbass” and the British guy gets offended and is all: “It’s Dumas.”

It was definitely in color, not black-and-white, and I SWEAR it was from a comedy movie — not a commercial.

I’ve already ruled out:
\- Shawshank Redemption
\- The A&W commercial
\- Grand Budapest Hotel

Please tell me someone knows what I’m talking about before I lose my mind.

Please help me find this horror movie

Need help identifying a movie

It was a super scary movie definitely not popular, surreal and the jumpscare I remember was a woman’s face distorted in a way but there was no sound with the actual jumpscare. The whole movie I think is seen through a camera although I may be wrong. I saw a TikTok about it a while ago. If you can identify it please let me know it’s killing me I can’t remember the name to save my life

TLDR scary jumpscare no sound woman face surreal

I think I saw this movie maybe 50 years ago. It was already old then. The premise was that soebody had maybe 24 hours to live. He had to solve it before he died. I never saw the ending. I belieive it was a Cary Grantish actor in the main role. This is a very old film.

[TOMT] Movie/show where spotlight is pointed at character to introduce them

I’m trying to find a reference point for a short film I’m making, and I swear I’ve seen a movie (maybe tv show) where a narrating character refers to someone else, and then it cuts to said person with a circular spotlight on them. Definitely a surreal, comical, Wes Anderson vibe, and I feel like it may just be a Wes Anderson movie tbh. But I’m envisioning a person in a crowd, then the spotlight hits them and they break the 4th wall to acknowledge that they’re being seen.

help me find this movie plss..

there's this movie na i’ve been looking for for forever.

it is an old filipino movie, medjo grainy na yung quality niya (parang panahon nila legend dolphy and babalu ganon). yung story is bata siyang babae na short haired tapos mahirap at walang magulang then i am not sure pero parang nasa mansion siya ng mayamang family. i vividly remember the title being the little girls' name tapos letter m ang simula. like “matilda” ganon, just her name, but i dont know what it is na.

anyone? if sino man ang nakapanood na nito or alam ng parents niyo, drop it here. i really want to find it. thank you in advance!!!

(PS. what i recall is her being poor and having no parents and she's being praised for having multiple jobs at such a young age.)

I saw this on the Roku Channel

It was a terrible movie, but I would love to figure out the name of it. From what I can remember, this woman is tasked with showing an old, former garment factory to potential buyers.

They go through the history of the building - basically it was a garment factory and there was a fire in it and many of the employees died b/c the former owner (also dead) didn't care about safety (much like the actual Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire). People start seeing ghosts, and phantom fires as they walk thru the building.

Eventually they people start being killed. >!The main character and a guy survive after they blow up the building to try and kill the main, evil ghost who comes up thru an elevator shaft.!<

The opening scene is in an office with the main character. Then it goes to the woman meeting the others outside the building.

I really only remember bits and pieces, like the ending. >!The woman, now possessed by the evil ghost is on a plane flying to another country. Before this scene it shows news reports about other fires (I think).!<

I also remember thinking they blew their budget on the opening title sequence, it looked really nice. Then they cut to the opening scene in the office and the art direction was nonexistent. Terrible blue walls (I believe), nothing on them, sparsely decorated and it just went downhill from there. Not even bad good, just bad bad.

So this was a tv show that I watched on Sci fi (now Syfy) channel. I believe early 2000s. A family is on a road trip and they stumble upon an old town. But they start to notice all the residence in the town are dead celebrities. I believe cop or mayor was Elvis.

Invisible monster / killer

Hello, I have seen this movie many years ago, at least 7 or 8. From what I remember, there was some sort of invisible monster or killer (because the movie never showed who does the killings). I vaguely remember some scenes (although they my be slightly off due to how much time it passed). One had an indoor scene, where there was a woman and a dog, then that thing knocks at it, the woman opens and both her and the dog die. Then there is a different one where a priest (if I remember correctly) that was runnng through a forest from that thing. Another would be a police office (again, not really sure if it was a cop or a civilian) sitting in the car by the road, waiting for something and getting killed by the thing. That is all I remember.

Someone told me about this movie scene maybe 20 years ago

And it’s lingered in my mind ever since, but no one ever knew. The way I remember it described: a guy has another guy tied up and turns on a torch. He tells him That it produces a heat so incredibly hot all You can do is smell meat cooking and feel a cold chill
Down ur spine. He goes behind the guy to “torture him” and starts cooking a steak with the torch and runs a popsicle down the victims back. As the victim starts screaming the guy spins them around and sticks the popsicle in their mouth. Any idea?

Mid-1980s movie in theater?

I don't have much to go on, but I remember being asked to go to a movie with a friend. We were both 10-12 years old, possibly, and I believe the movie involved a boy who was kidnapped (that's all I recall). I was so confused about why she wanted to see this movie... it wasn't a kid movie, or a movie I'd ever actually want to see, but I was invited so I went. Any help with this?

Help me find this TV show/movie from the 90s

All I can remember of it is the ending but I'll try to set up the context for what I can guess from the other parts.

It takes place on a moon or planet. The group there seem to be a bunch of scientists, but unsure what they're doing. An organism or phantom from the planet begins to take over the different people and they start to change, becoming something other and killing one another, though they don't seem to change appearances.

The only scene I really remember is the very end, where a man is banging against the door asking for the woman inside to let him in. I seem to recall him having a smirk on his face. They could have been partners. She slumps down against the bunker door, sobbing, knowing there's no way out. The movie feels very red (color) in my mind, almost as if it's taken place on Mars.

Unfortunately that's it. But this image has stuck with me for 30 years and it's killing me.

Might be a usa or syfy still of movie. Could be an outer limits kind of show. I really have no idea. Appreciate any help!

Anyone know the name of this movie? I SWEAR I didn’t dream it..

I’m trying to remember a movie I watched years ago and it’s driving me crazy.

From what I remember, there was a white woman trapped in some kind of underground train/subway station or tunnel system, and she was being chased by a really creepy humanoid/monster creature. The atmosphere was very dark and claustrophobic.

I vaguely remember her repeatedly going back to a small room or shelter area through a type of mirror.. where she would cough up or vomit strange stuff (possibly blood or something abnormal?).

I can’t remember if it was a horror movie or thriller, but it definitely had underground/subway survival vibes.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

It’s NOT The Descent (unless I’m remembering it very wrong lol).

Can’t find the name of a movie I watched years ago

I’m trying to find an older American movie I watched years ago, probably from the late 80s or 90s. I don’t think it was a famous movie at all — more likely a low-budget indie or maybe even a TV movie. The story follows two young friends, around college age, who come from wealthy or well-off families. Before going to college, they get a summer job through connections, doing physical work on a ship or around docks/loading cargo sacks or something similar.

While working there, they meet an older worker, probably in his 30s, blond with slightly longer hair if I remember correctly. He notices that the two guys are privileged, soft and inexperienced, and starts manipulating them. At some point, he either deliberately commits a murder in front of them or tricks them into witnessing it so he can psychologically trap and blackmail them afterward. I remember the movie starting off relatively light, almost like a coming-of-age film, but after the murder it becomes much darker and more tense.

One specific scene I remember is that one of the boys gives the guy a valuable watch that had been a gift from his family, because of the blackmail and pressure he was under.

That’s unfortunately all I remember, but the movie had a very “forgotten 90s thriller/drama” vibe. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Help me find this old CGI movie from the early-ish 2000s

Okay this has been driving me insane and I need help finding this old animated CGI sci-fi movie I watched as a kid. It would have been somewhere between like 1990–2015 but I think more likely early 2000s. It had realistic CGI kinda like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within with that old motion blur look.

Here’s what I remember:

  • It was set in space with lots of different alien races
  • One of the main characters was this white/light energy girl who could heal people but using her powers drained her life force
  • She restored her energy by eating or absorbing these rare crystal/energy stones
  • Early in the movie there’s a mine/slave scene where people are chained up mining these crystals
  • The energy girl could sense the crystals through the rock
  • The main human guy got some of his fingers or hand bitten off by an alien creature while mining and couldn’t use his jackhammer/mining tool anymore because of the pain
  • The energy girl healed his hand even though it weakened her

Then near the end:

  • They travel to this ancient lost space station/platform in space
  • It wasn’t enclosed, more like giant floating platforms with debris everywhere
  • The background of space was very purple
  • There was some kind of giant portal there
  • The villain was this shadow-like female humanoid alien trying to bring back her race through the portal
  • Near the end she transforms into this purple/black spider-like monster humanoid thing
  • The energy girl ends up using one of the energy crystals/stones against the villain and overloads her with energy which basically makes her explode

It was fully in English and had a darker teen/adventure vibe.

I’ve already checked:

  • Titan A.E.
  • Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
  • Kaena: The Prophecy
  • Ark
  • Battle for Terra
  • Thru the Moebius Strip

None of those are it.

Please tell me someone else remembers this movie lol

Man orangutan axe in leg

There's a scene from a movie/show that I remember but cant find what its from. It's an older show similar to "little house on the prairie" in aesthetics. It used to scare me as a kid.

In it a man is chopping wood down in the woods to take home for his family. While he is chopping wood some sort of creature, either directly said to be an orangutan or implied, jumps infront of him and scares him so much that he hits his leg badly with the axe.

His daughter sees this and screams then runs back home to tell her mother and grandfather. They then go get the man to bring him back home where they stich him up and question him about the monkey.

Thank you for your help.
