I dont care about the drinks, wanted to know if the ST LT price is really this high or they thought I was a sucker. ( I took the LT)

Bit of a simp post but last week my relationship of 11 years ended and I feel absolutely destroyed, I am 41 years old and acceptable shape (regular gym goer) but I dont see any way moving forward, do you guys think a month of crazy Pattaya action would help healing getting over my Ex ? I was young and stupid and drunk when I booked that flight to Thailand - thought I wanted a "cultural experience" and ended up with a one way ticket to "what the actual hell". I’m hearing way too many stories lately of falang foreigners traveling to Pattaya and some of the ploys are telling them ridiculous prices of

5,000 apples for ST, and 8,000LT apples

That’s basically 2-3 weeks of a monthly wage working a 40 hour job in Thailand in a span of 1-6 hours.😂

Meanwhile some of these foreigners actually pay it it’s because they either don’t know what’s going on or they are that desperate.

Meanwhile these same ploys then try and tell everyone else even their long term clients about a new price which cause foreigners to maybe think it’s time to stop traveling over to Pattaya even if you are a attractive young man,

I thought not going above 3,000 for ST/LT was still the rule in 2026?

Hi guys. Been in Pattaya once for a week and this time I want to go properly. How is the weather and scene and crowds and everything else in October?

I'll start with the TL/DR: Does Pattaya Ploy always leans SO heavily on the sick buffalo routine, or am I somehow giving off major newbie vibes?

Last time I was in Thailand was about 4 years ago, tail-end of Covid, Krabi and Phuket. Great time overall; only once did the buffalo show up in bed. Fair game.

So I pull into Pattaya 3 days ago. First time here. I bar fine ploy in Tree Town (me like long time). Barely do we make it two blocks before her family members start coming down with incurable diseases. At the very least, back in Krabi, ploy waited until AFTER I had gotten my money's worth before story time began. Bad luck, I thought; crack on mate.

But last night really took the cake: Another Tree Town bar fine. This one simply wouldn't stop with the dead and dying uncles, aunts and grandpas. She showed me a damn picture of a corpse for f's sake. We're still fully clothed! What happened to the cat pics? I finally gave her a 1K bill for her time and sent her home. No boom boom. How could I with that decomposing corpse burned onto my retina?

Me like long time? Me thought me did.

I try my best not to come off as a mark, but they take one look at me and think they've scored the Glengarry leads. How do I dismantle that assumption BEFORE the bar fine? Ideas?
