Just got my Legion. Any gains ofer performance mode if I mess with custom power mode? How good are factory settings?

Just got my Legion pro 7i and I'm doing a clean Windows install. What would happen if I skip Legion space app? I know it gives me access to power sliders and RGB control but what would be default behavior? Would GPU still get max power?

At what average fps do you start noticing and lowering settings?

Just give me your hard bottom number, I know 100+ is nice to have and above 160 it doesn't make much difference.
