Hi everyone, I’m trying to print on transparency sheets made for inkjets and I’m getting these marks/patterns on the transparency which makes them unusable. I’ve set the paper type to ultra gloss. Has anyone come across this? Thanks!
I haphazardly updated the printer firmware last night not knowing that it would render my printer useless with 3rd party ink installed. Can anyone support with helping me get this resolved? The printer screen won’t even let me do anything past installing the ink cartridges.

Hey all I am trying to run a magnet business, but it requires me to print photos for a high quality, we have bought high quality paper played around with settings we have the Epson ET 8500 Im wondering if anyone has more tips other than juts making sure the printer and paper settings are right and quality is on highest. The photos are coming out dull, and blurry. Thank you!
Yesterday i attempted to print but everything came out pink/purple tinted, thought my printer didnt have enough cyan and yellow ink so i refilled them then i tried again only for nothing to happen.. then I tried nozzle check and it came out like the picture but only magenta was printed.
So I did power cleaning but now my printers prints everything blue tinted? What should I do???

Printer worked great a few days ago but today for some reason everything i try to print is having these skipped lines. Could someone please help? After it skips the line, it continues a little then goes to the far right and goes back and fourth in its cubby. Did a nozzle check, everything was perfect and ran a light cleaning.
I have 1 printer Epson L6290
Problem :
- Print Half/Blank Pages
- Nozzle Check OK

Hello I could use some help with figuring out if it’s the settings or just the paper causing this issue. It looks like the ink isn’t absorbing at all on the Epson Photos Glossy Paper. I’ve changed the settings to 3 different glossy options as well as extended the drying time to longer and it still just looks like it’s pooling on top of the paper and the first print is still wet after 8 hours. I’ve calibrated the printer twice and it prints perfectly fine on the off brand glossy letter sized photo paper just having issues with the 4x6 prints which is weird since it’s the Epson brand. Thanks in advance for the help!
How difficult is this to resolve? Printer error message said requires Epson authorized repair.
Can someone help me figure out how to fix my Epson 2720? I got the printer from a girl on Facebook and it was already set up for sublimation printing. When I first tried using it, nothing printed at all which led me to finding out a lot about the printer. I ended up having to manually clean the lines and replace the print head to finally get some color to show. I have now done multiple head cleanings and a couple of power cleanings but I can’t seem to get my black and cyan to show any change. I have purge printed many 50+ pages of each color I am wondering if there’s a setting that I need to change or something because my alignment also looks wrong. I have also filled the ink, replaced the waste container and reset the printer. I’m stuck at this point.
I do IT (networking and sysadmin) full time. Small business owner I know, she asked me why her printer was streaking.
As I was leaving her office,she showed me the first photo. I ran the option to clean the heads and told her that should do it.
She called me an let me know it is still streaking.
Do I just need to run the cleaning a number of times or is the head bad? If it is bad, can you replace the head?
My place of work uses laser printers, so not sure about inkjets. We have one HP we keep rebuilding from 1994.
