So like 7-8 years ago I was a scumbag. I admit. I was a terrible person. I would rob, steal and intimidate to get things I wanted. I used to hang around Hell’s Kitchen and mug people from time to time. I did all this to support my “habits”. Anyways so one night I go out and everything is routine. I hang around the streets near the alleys and anybody I see openly holding/wearing valuables will get dragged into the alley, I’d pull a knife “gimme all your shit before I..” Yada yada yada (just wanna clarify I never cut anybody or went outta my way to hurt them physically. Not that it excuses my actions.)

Anyways so it’s business as usual I grab this guy because he had a nice watch a gold chain and the newest iPhone out at the time. I pull my knife out and bang a stick knocks it outta my hand (breaking two of my fingers in the process), I turn around and I get folded. Embarrassingly beaten like a toddler vs Mike Tyson. It was daredevil. He told me if he found me doing this again it’d be worse next time.

This motivated to change, stop the drugs and try to make amends and be the best person I can be. I can’t lie I’m pissed. HOW TF DID A BLIND MAN BEAT THE DOG OUTTA ME?! SO EASILY? My pride can’t take it. Cos there’s no way bro. No way. Everybody who I told this story too is CLOWNING me left n right. They’re covering their eyes with their hands and saying they could kick my ass. I can’t take this bro. Like HOW?! HOW?!?! Nah bro. Tell me it isn’t true. Tell me a blind man didn’t flying dragon Kick me into being a better person. Cos there ain’t no way man.

In Norse mythology, Ragnarok means the end of everything, including Midgard(basically our world) so isn't it kinda known fact that the world is going to end now that we know it's all real??! Why do everyone keep ignoring this shit?

so, I (38M, would be 43 if it weren't for the dick in purple) was blipped. yes, it's a common experience, about half of us were. so, when I came back around three years ago, I found my name carved on some huge stone wall among with countless others, like I was dead. apparently there was a way to bring us back, then why were considered dead?? why the hell did it take "earth's mightiest heroes" FIVE YEARS?! anyway, as the title says, my wife also considered me dead. before the blip I always suspected that she and her guy best friend were too close, like, more than just friends. she'd always tell me I'm being paranoid and insecure, eventually I believed her and let it go. but apparently as soon as I was gone (like two years later), she was thrilled to jump into his arms! I lost five years of my children's (15M and 17M) lives. now her best friend, her new husband lives in my house with my kids and married to my wife. he took my entire life! obviously I tried to get him away from her and my children. I was being very reasonable about it, actually. but then suddenly I can't see my children or my wife or that douchebag. a restraining order! for what??? asking that thief for my life back?? as I was packing my thing from the damn basement they "let" me stay in (yet again, in my house), I said that to her. "you're a horrible person, you cheated on me, and I bet you were with this dickbag even back then!" so, then, when I actually called her out on it, she started bawling her eyes out. I almost thought she'd had a change of heart but then they called the police to legally get me away. now my children say I'm the horrible person. I really don't understand what I did wrong, but people are calling me the asshole, so- AITA???

Ever since the creation of the AVTF, I've seen people wondering why Fisk isn't going after Spider-Man, despite hunting down every other vigilante in the city. It's especially weird, considering Spidey is THE NYC vigilante. You'd think he'd be their prime target.

Yes, he did name him on live TV, but he isn't taking direct action against him. In fact, it seems like the Task Force isn't even remotely interested in capturing the Webslinger. He somehow seems exempt from Fisk's crusade. The Mayor seems to be all bark and no bite when going against him. But why?

Well, to me the answer seems incredibly obvious. He's not a vigilante, he's a legitimate superhero. Let me explain.

Out of all the vigilantes, Spidey is the only one who has legitimately worked with the Avengers, which is as close as you can get to being an "official hero". Avengers records also show that he was the only NYC vigilante present at the Battle of Earth. He had a hand in saving the whole universe from Thanos.

Secondly, Spidey just had a very public trial where he was accused of murdering a fellow "hero" (still can't believe that fraud has supporters), which ended in all charges being proven false.

Touching Spider-Man right now is like chucking your ratings off a cliff. He'd have to somehow convince the public that the guy who helped save the whole universe is "dangerous". Do you see that happening? Because I sure as hell don't.

Not to mention, if Spidey gets charged and they turn out to be false yet again, then his reputation would be stronger than ever. Meanwhile, for our dear Mayor, it'd be legitimately over. It wouldn't surprise me if going after him resulted in Captain America making a visit to the Mayor's office. I'm sure he doesn't want that.

TL;DR: Mayor Fisk probably considers Spider-Man to be too hot to handle and knows that trying to bring him in would be career suicide. That's why he isn't sending the AVTF to capture him.

I worked on Stark Industries from 2003 to 2024 on the aerospace division. I initially worked on the Jericho missiles then when the company transitioned away from developing tech for the military I was assigned to lead the team that developed the Stark drones. After the incident with Spider-Man, I left the company and since then I have joined SWORD to work as their Contractor Liaison.

Then I got escorted out by the AVTF. What do you guys think happened back there? 🤔

so i just came back from being blipped like a month ago and then some weird thing happened where i live where it was a sitcom so i barely got to get a hold on everything i missed.

was there anything super newsworthy besides the whole Avengers bringing us back thing?
