My Duolingo has been stuck on 1 level for MONTHS.

This is suuuper annoying: my Duolingo has been stuck on one level for MONTHS. Does anyone know how I can fix this — I have tried everything:

- tried completing the level on browser
- deleting and redownloading the app
- clearing app cache
- skipping ahead and then coming back (when i skip ahead i can complete a level, but because i have to go to a whole other section i miss loads of stuff and don’t want to have those gaps in my knowledge)
- contacting support 2 times — they never responded

the only thing i haven’t been able to do (because you can no longer make a duo for schools account) is creating a separate teacher account and adding it to a classroom to skip it ahead one level….

it’s extra frustrating because i pay for premium and have not had any use of it on the language that i want for MONTHS. pls someone help….

"It appears like" vs "if seems like"

While I get that the former might be used more often, aren't both meanings pretty much the same?

On vs nous

I guess I learned today nous is formal while on is casual. Is this the same as tu contre vous?

Why is it "Elle est" in this question?

I'm confused by this, why is it "Elle est"? there are no feminine words in the rest of the sentence.

I finished the complete French course in 205 days working an average of 2.5 hours per day. I did skip some of the first part of A1 due to some prior experience with the language (I lived in a francophone African country for two years over 50 years ago).

I found that the course was quite good at teaching writing and grammar skills and building some useful vocabulary. In addition, I read novels in French (I recommend Jules Verne), and I watched Netflix French series with the subtitles also in French. I'm getting ready to go to France for three weeks and I feel pretty confident in my ability to communicate. When I return, I intend to attend events at my town's Alliance Francaise which seems to be pretty active. I live in the United States.

New update

I have a French score of 46, and have been shoved over to the new update, I was a fair chunk through unit 4 I think, but now the new update looks as though I’ve studied a bunch of stuff I haven’t, and I’m just so lost. I’d happily go back and redo the whole of unit 4, so I can learn the French but I can only do the reviews. Has this happened to others, I’m just so confused and it’s quite demoralising tbh.
