Cooked myself this steak dinner in the dominos oven

Ny strip with salt, pepper, fresh garlic, and a little butter cooked for about 3.5 minutes on each side. Fresh avocado on the side. Came out delicious.

Would someone kindly explain the difference between the 2 doughs?

Dominos is now advertising their Stuffed Cheesy Breads as “better than ever” because apparently they’re now using the premium handmade pan dough.

Would anyone who works at Dominos know what makes their handmade pan dough different from their regular dough?

Because until now I just thought it was the same dough, but one was stuffed into a deeper pan with butter, while the other was a regular stretched pizza.

I miss wearing nailpolish :')

I miss doing my nails so bad 😭 I feel so naked without nailpolish on lmao and im so jelly when my friends get cute sets 🥺 but I do genuinely like my job a lot, and I love my coworkers and im not quitting just because of this lol. I just wear cheap nailpolish on days I dont work, and remember to remove it before my shift.

Anyways, here are a few pizzas I made when I was super new lol. As you can see, I overtopped the shit out of my pizzas 💀🗿

Store owner sold the franchise, new owners starting this week, what should I expect?

We are a very low volume store, which I always intuitively understood to be due to poor location, but the new owners have stressed they are very confident they can turn that around quickly with more outreach and marketing. Only 5 inhouse employees, nobody's getting let go (yet lol). They wanna extend our operating hours when it's already super dead most of the day...

The new owners kinda have the vibe of having just graduated from Domino's University so I'm guessing they'll be really strict and by-the-book on every little thing.

Probably a stupid question but is this even legal?

My employer is a lazybones and refuses to give us direct deposit, so we always have to go to the store Friday mornings to get our checks, but our GM just texted our group saying this, I was already pissed off they are too lazy for direct deposit, but now they are refusing to give me my money until 2PM??? I have bills that need paid, and I have to go grocery shopping before I work today (4:30) this is absolutely ridiculous to me and I have nothing to do about it besides complain. :)

(Edit) sorry if this violates rule 3 it’s jsut a first name so I thought it to be fine.

Smh! Is this size normal?

$11.49 *before* tax for an 8 piece. More like a 4 piece considering these wings might as well be made for ants! Has anybody else gotten wings this tiny from dominoes? They might as well call these butterfly wings. I already never get wings from pizza places bc I prefer foster farms and the like, but I didn’t expect this size. lesson learned. never again!

Thanks Dominos!

Have no idea where to post this, but I had to share it lol. I assumed it was just maybe a VPN or tracker error but I’m still waiting for an update lol

3 pies, 3 deals, 3 states.

I appreciate everyone’s hard work out there, as this seems to be an employee fully stocked page.

Keep up the great work, you’re feeding America one pie at a time.

Dominos workers of Reddit, what was the rudest and/or craziest customers you have encountered?

as an insider myself, I have had some encounters:

  1. during rush hour, we get this call from this woman who had a delivery. she lived in the neighborhood behind the dominos and she said her pizza was cold and she had to microwave it. for some context, it was in the peak of flu season and half of the drivers were sick. And the rush caused the orders to lag behind. I told her that to which she responded “well maybe you shouldn’t be taking orders”. I instinctively told the manager. he tried to calm the woman down and he had to give her a full refund. The only problem was, she wanted a picture of the receipt after it had been canceled. If you’re a worker, you know that cant happen. she said she will never be ordering from dominos again and abruptly hung up.

  2. when I was doing my cleaning tasks, I got a call and picked up the phone. it was a woman and she said she had ordered a meal to be delivered the previous day right before it closed (around 11:50). she said when she got the pizza, there was barely any toppings on it. It turned out the store had ran out of some toppings and she kept on saying that she had a video of what she received. she was not answering direct questions from the manager and she eventually hang up. It’s not wise to order right before close.

  3. not my story but my managers story. Apparently, in the middle of a rush, this grandma came through the pickup window and said the app said it was ready. when my manger told her that it hadn’t been made yet, she tried to hit my manager from the window and then got out of the car and started making her way to the lobby door. My manager instinctively locked the door and the lady started pounding on the window. Eventually, she left. Not without flipping the whole store off, of course.

im curious to know what rude customers other workers encountered

Is using the $6.99 for each item coupons worth it?

We wanted to get 2 pizzas and 2 sandwiches, but I guess there really is no way to make it cheaper? It was over $30 and someone said they get you if you don't know really how to use the app. Is that the price it should be?

I love Online only deals

I love getting calls and walk-ins and having people say they just saw the online only deal and want to order it with us in store.

They'll say online only to me and proceed to be confused why they might need to go online for the online only deals.

People are legitimately frustrating

What are you bagging during prep?

Just wanted to get a consensus on what everyone is bagging during morning prep. Here at my store, we are bagging Loaded Tots, Boneless Chicken, Loaded Chicken, Pasta, Grilled Chicken for Pasta, and Bone in wings. We have a temp manager from another store helping out and she says that they only do grilled chicken for pasta, pasta, and the bone in wings. Just wanted to get a consensus to see if any other stores do the prep like we do.

3 delivery people for one location?

I was waiting for my pizza outside and it took a while and I witnessed 3 different delivery people come and go for a single location. Is this normal?
