Dominos workers of Reddit, what was the rudest and/or craziest customers you have encountered?

as an insider myself, I have had some encounters:

  1. during rush hour, we get this call from this woman who had a delivery. she lived in the neighborhood behind the dominos and she said her pizza was cold and she had to microwave it. for some context, it was in the peak of flu season and half of the drivers were sick. And the rush caused the orders to lag behind. I told her that to which she responded “well maybe you shouldn’t be taking orders”. I instinctively told the manager. he tried to calm the woman down and he had to give her a full refund. The only problem was, she wanted a picture of the receipt after it had been canceled. If you’re a worker, you know that cant happen. she said she will never be ordering from dominos again and abruptly hung up.

  2. when I was doing my cleaning tasks, I got a call and picked up the phone. it was a woman and she said she had ordered a meal to be delivered the previous day right before it closed (around 11:50). she said when she got the pizza, there was barely any toppings on it. It turned out the store had ran out of some toppings and she kept on saying that she had a video of what she received. she was not answering direct questions from the manager and she eventually hang up. It’s not wise to order right before close.

  3. not my story but my managers story. Apparently, in the middle of a rush, this grandma came through the pickup window and said the app said it was ready. when my manger told her that it hadn’t been made yet, she tried to hit my manager from the window and then got out of the car and started making her way to the lobby door. My manager instinctively locked the door and the lady started pounding on the window. Eventually, she left. Not without flipping the whole store off, of course.

im curious to know what rude customers other workers encountered
