Can anyone help me get around it? Basically just the battery, oil, radiator water, and air filter have been serviced/replaced in a very very long time. In the beginning of the video it was with the clutch engaged, but even when I’m riding it takes a bit of time after the clutch is engaged for it to stop.
I’m not familiar with bikes I’m just getting started out yesterday ironically when I started taking the plastics off and I had this bike just sitting for a month or 2 and it started leaking I guess last night from this bolt. Anything helps & thank you.
Why is my bike like hitting a rev limiter? It revs higher. In gear, it also starts to stutter and bog just like the video and then if I give it more gas it revs up all the way.
Could it be the tps?
I had no spark for my dirtbike so I replaced my rusty iginiton coil and my spark plug still no spark. What else should I do?
I’m looking buying a hot rods kit for the bottom end of my yz125 and pairing it with a vertex piston some people told me kits are not very good but I also had people tell me they are good.
Ok so the other day I tried to mess with my throttle cable because the carb was not opening all the way.
Long story short when I let go of the throttle this thing from my cable snapped off.
It doesn't have any screw or something to hold the wire, I believe it was welded on or sum.
Can I just drill a tiny hole trough or just buy a screw-hold one?
Are the screw ones reliable? Please tell me quick cuz I just done fixing it a week ago amd just wanted to ride a bit...

This is my first time ever working on my bike. Had it about 2 years and last season it started burning oil. At first I thought it was valve seals but I’m not really sure at this point. It burns enough that I have to top it off occasionally. Starts 2nd kick and runs great aside from the oil burning.
Valves appear to be in spec and I’m not really sure where to go from here. Compression test? Run it till it blows? Any help or input appreciated. Thank you.

I’m 150lb 5,8 14 and I have a crf150f but need an upgrade I ride trails and want something with more power and faster but not too much maintenance have heard that these 2 strokes hold for hundreds of hours and top end rebuilds are easy but I’m wondering is it just too much bike
I have a 2007 CRF 150rb. It stopped running. I replaced top end, cleaned carb, adjusted valves, new spark plug, new kill switch. I believe it has a fuel delivery issue. It will start with choke on only at high idle. And it will stay running at high idle. If I turn choke off it stumbles out and dies. It will start with choke off for 3 seconds only if I’m holding throttle really open. I put a #42 pilot jet in from a #40. I adjusted float bowl from stock 7mm to 6.25mm for more fuel. Still nothing working. I’m just really lost at this point any ideas?
Hey everyone! I recently purchased some trakmaster k760’s one set for my 450rl and one for my 300l I meant to order 110/100/18 for the 300l but accidentally ordered two 120/100/18’s. Will the 120/100/18s fit the 300l? I’m not too worried about power loss with the bigger tire as the 300 is primarily for my wife to ride. I would just return the tire but they want 30$ to ship it back and that’s half the cost of the tire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I bought a 2005 EXC-R 450 a non-running a few days ago. I have done a couple things to try to get it to run but I haven’t had must luck. Here is a list of things I have tried.
-Carb Rebuild and Clean
-New Fuel
-New Air Filter
-Set Valves to Spec
-New Fluids
-Adjusted the fuel screw on the carb
-Pull the cam cover and confirmed timing is correct
-Pulled plus and confirmed spark
I have good spark, fuel, and air. When I kick there is air coming out of the exhaust. Gas is getting to the carb. Sometimes I’ll get a loud pop but that is about it. The only issue that I have found is the stator and flywheel seem to be damaged. I have heard that damage to the stator, flywheel, or woodruff key. I’ll add pictures so y’all can see the damage and let me know what you think. I’m think I’m going to buy a flywheel, woodruff key, and new stator. Please let me know if I am going in the right direction.
I’ve been thinking of picking up this running dr250 but it’s for 1200? it runs an rides but do you think ima even get 1200 of fuel and oil thru it before it blows ?
2006 yz450f just rebuilt the top end zero hours, picked it up cheap Iv never ridden it. Sounds good when in neutral but does this in gear no matter the gear. It seems to smooth out when giving it gas and when you pull the clutch in which is what the first 2 seconds of the wheel spin from video is it really jumps. I’m new to it all but I did try moving the wheel in gear bike off clutch in and it was very hard but in neutral I can spin the wheel like 3-4 times around with one push so not brakes or bearings also chain is well lubricated. Looking it up I think I have a burnt clutch that’s sticking but want to see what you guys think.
I just recently got this bike and it started fine but after a month or so it’s become increasingly hard to start first electric start wouldn’t work now kick starting isn’t working but it bump starts really easy and once it gets warm I can easily kick or electric start it I have replaced the spark plug and it’s sparking good I’ve replaced the air filter and changed the oil I kind of suspect it’s the carb but want to see if there is anything else I can try before taking it to someone because that’s beyond my limited mechanical ability
so i Bought this dirtbike and it had nothing on it besides a motor with a missing valve cover and have gotten it to run for a few seconds but seems to die after 10 seconds or so seems like compression shoots out from the carb. i did buy everything it needed as well new carb etc but wont run and cant take it on its first ride, can anyone figure out if its just bad motor?
