2011 Kx250f Burning Oil

This is my first time ever working on my bike. Had it about 2 years and last season it started burning oil. At first I thought it was valve seals but I’m not really sure at this point. It burns enough that I have to top it off occasionally. Starts 2nd kick and runs great aside from the oil burning.
Valves appear to be in spec and I’m not really sure where to go from here. Compression test? Run it till it blows? Any help or input appreciated. Thank you.
