I tried pay per view UGC in India and results were insane. (2M+ views and 35K+ signups in just 5 days)

Yo, been down a rabbit hole for the past few months.

It started when I noticed Duolingo, Suno, and Lovable were all growing like crazy without massive ad budgets. Like genuinely outsized growth for what they were spending. I started digging into how.

Turns out all big western companies are running large-scale UGC campaigns.

The model works because of two things: volume and velocity. A lot of content hitting at the same time creates a density that looks like a trend. Algorithms love trends.

What bothered me was nobody was doing this properly in India. Indian brands are still stuck in the "pay one big influencer and hope" loop.

But when I tried to use the model in India, I got:

  • 2M+ views
  • 35k+ signups
  • With just 50K as budget in just 5 days

It was mad easy with my structure. Curious to know what you guys think of pay per view UGC content.

Employer wants me to change my personal Facebook name/photo for Meta ads access — is this normal?

My workplace is asking me to update my personal Facebook profile to match my Aadhaar name and use my real photo, apparently for connecting it to Zoho Social / Meta ads access (I don’t have the full details yet).

I’m uncomfortable with this because I don’t want to change my personal FB name or DP, and I don’t really want to use my personal account for work-related assets in general.

Is this a normal requirement for working with Meta ad accounts or business manager access? Or does this sound unnecessary?

Has anyone here had an employer ask them to use a personal Facebook account for work ad access? Were there alternatives, like company-owned accounts or employee permissions that didn’t involve changing your personal profile?

Would appreciate advice, especially from people who manage Meta ads or social accounts professionally.

TAPMI Manipal vs IMI Delhi for Marketing – placements, ROI, and safety considerations

My brother has secured admission to TAPMI Manipal and IMI Delhi for a marketing specialization, and we are trying to make a clear, practical decision.

Key factors we are evaluating:

  • Placements: From available data, IMI Delhi seems to have a slightly higher average package, but TAPMI also reports consistent placements with good marketing roles. The difference does not appear extremely large on the surface.
  • Fees vs ROI: IMI Delhi has higher fees. If the placement outcomes are not significantly better, the return on investment becomes a concern compared to TAPMI.
  • Location and exposure: IMI Delhi offers metro exposure and proximity to corporate hubs, whereas TAPMI Manipal is a fully residential campus with a more contained environment.
  • Safety and familiarity: We are based in Mumbai and do not know anyone in Delhi. Our parents are more comfortable with Manipal as it seems more controlled and predictable compared to a large city like Delhi.

Main question:
For a marketing career specifically, is IMI Delhi meaningfully better than TAPMI in terms of roles, growth, and long-term outcomes, or are they comparable enough that choosing TAPMI (with lower fees and a more controlled environment) is the more rational decision?

Looking for insights from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with both institutes.

D2C founders in India/Small business owners— what’s actually not working right now?

Been hearing the same three or four complaints from founder friends across categories (skincare, apparel, F&B, home) and I'm wondering if this is a wider pattern or just my bubble.

Drop your honest answers:

— What's the #1 marketing challenge eating your head right now?

— Are you in-house, with an agency, or a hybrid setup? What's working / not working?

— If with an agency: getting ROI or just getting reports?

— What would make you actually recommend your agency to another founder?

— What's one thing you've stopped expecting agencies to do well?

And if you've cracked something — CAC, retention, organic — share it. This sub is better when we actually talk shop.

Edit: will compile the responses and post back a summary.

Hiring Sales Partners | Online Guitar Coaching | Earn ₹1,000–₹3,000 per enrollment | Long-term opportunity

I run a structured online guitar coaching program and I’m currently looking for serious sales partners who can help bring in students.

This is not a link-spamming role. The work involves having real conversations with potential students, understanding their goals, and guiding them toward enrollment.

If you’re good at communication, can build trust, and are willing to put in consistent effort, this can become a reliable income stream.

What we offer to students: • 1-on-1 live classes (60 mins, twice a week)

• Every session is recorded for revision

• Personal dashboard with structured roadmap

• Feedback on practice between sessions

• A guided learning system, not random YouTube learning

Plans & your earnings:

• Plan 1: $60/month → you earn ₹1,000–₹1,200 per enrollment

• Plan 2: $160 (3 months) → you earn up to ₹3,000 per enrollment

Why work with us: • Payout within 24 hours of each confirmed enrollment (UPI)

• Performance bonuses (₹500 for 3 enrollments, ₹1,000 for 5)

• Full onboarding support so you can confidently pitch and close

• Opportunity to move into base pay + commission for consistent performers

This is best suited for people who are serious about building income through sales, not for those looking for quick, low-effort money.

If this aligns with you, send a message or apply and I’ll walk you through the details.

Something New Just Started in Gaya, Bihar and It's Ours - inlite media

Hello everyone,

Before we begin, do you remember the tweet where Sam Altman announced ChatGPT and the internet collectively lost its mind? Good times.

Well, we didn't shake the world but we're here to shake up Gaya, and honestly, that means everything to us.

Today, we introduce our brainchild - Inlite Media.

A Gaya ji based creative marketing agency built from the heart of this city. Of the people of Gaya. For the people of Gaya. By the people of Gaya.

It started with an idea that what if a group of scattered friends, each remarkable in their own way (yes, we're a little like the Avengers don't judge us), came together and did something real for the businesses of Gaya? So on January 23, 2025, that's exactly what we did.

Four months in, it hasn't always been easy. There were two months of silence after the launch but almost all at once 4 to 5 client deals closed in a single month. Sheer hardwork meeting its moment.

We are doing good now and here’s the reason: we are homegrown and proud of it. As locals, we understand Bihar's market its pulse, its people, and what truly works here. We don't bring a copy-paste approach. We bring context, and that makes all the difference.

We promised ourselves this wouldn't be a sales pitch  and it isn't. It's just a few friends from Gaya, genuinely excited about what they're building, wanting to share that with you.

If you're a business owner ready to grow, we'd love to be in your corner because there's genuinely no better time than now.

And if you simply believe in what we're doing, come find us. Follow along.

We go by u/inlitemedia on Instagram. Cheer us on. We will take all of it.

We're just getting started.

 Team Inlite Media 🌟
