I’ve got a few, and I know some of these are probably fan favorites, but I just never got it.

EJ and Sami is probably the biggest one for me. I genuinely don’t understand how they got so popular. It was always manipulation, revenge, repeat. And let’s not forget that EJ sexually assaulted Sami. I never saw the “epic love story” people talk about.

Brady and Kristen too… that one was just constant toxicity and obsession. Kristen was so obsessed with Brady, and she doesn’t know how to stop. It stopped being interesting after a while because it was the same cycle over and over.

Xander and Sarah is another one I just can’t get behind. I know they have their fans, but all the lying and damage between them makes it hard for me to root for them as a couple. Sarah always so quick to judge, and Xander did some bad things.

And I’ll be honest, JJ and Lani never really clicked for me either. I don’t know if it was writing or chemistry, but I just wasn’t invested.

Honorable Mentions: Joey and Jade, John and Marlena, Phillip and Belle, Eric and Jada.

A few of these just felt like the show forcing pairings instead of letting things develop naturally.

Question, what’s one Days couple that you can’t stand?

Am I the ONLY one who loves Paulina and Abe and DOES NOT want Lexie to break them up? I think that's part of what EJ wants since he hates Paulina.

Paulina was there for a And after he was kidnapped. When Paulina was dying from cancer, Lexie (in a dumb storyline) came back as an "angel" and gave them her blessing and I think she was saved from dying. I can't quite remember the details.

But I also love Holly and Tate, Chanel and Johnny, Sarah and Xander, so maybe it is just me. 😂

I thought the writers did really smart things today with each pairing.

Abe is now in the position of having two wives he loves very much - in the same way Marlena had two husbands she loved very much when Roman returned from the dead.

And Alex is in the same position Steve was in when he found out Tripp was his son.

It was great to see Marlena share her experience with Paulina and Steve share his experience with Alex - people who actually understood. And I loved how Steve embraced Alex’s child and welcomed her to their family.

I’m honestly glad Sophia is gone from Days. I get they needed drama for the adoption storyline, but she just wore me out by the end.

The Johnny and Chanel situation was already messy, and her constantly questioning if they were “fit” to adopt just got frustrating. She kept dragging other people into it too, and everything kept spiraling.

Messing with Holly’s medication was another point where I just checked out with her character. And the stuff with Rachel and Johnny… it just kept escalating more and more.

I don’t know, it just felt like she went too far for too long. I won’t miss her at all.

What do you think of the Lexi story? She has great brows and a lovely fresh manicure for being deceased for so many years. Not feeling this story.

I’m sorry but this honestly annoyed me so bad. Why do these writers keep doing this over and over again? Not every dead character needs to come back. Lexie already had one of the saddest and most meaningful exits on the show, and now it just feels like they ruined that for shock value.

And what makes it even more frustrating is hearing Renee Jones supposedly didn’t even wanna return like that. So what was the point? It just feels unnecessary. I love Lexie down, but bringing her back completely takes away from the emotional impact her death had in the first place.

At some point these shows need to let certain stories stay finished instead of constantly undoing everything.

I really miss the old Ari. Can’t get on board with the new actress. Anyone else?

I expected more from Stefano's Will reading. Expecting a twist that never came. Seemed pretty straight forward inheritance.

Now Lexie ... Why did they bring back this character with an actor we don't care about. If this was Rene Jones, I would be properly torn between Lexie and Paulina, and probably end up being on Lexie side. But this actor is not Lexie and is going to undermine Abe and Lexie's relationship when Paulina is inevitably chosen. This relationship could have been left alone and meant something more than what it is going to end up being now.

Disappointing choices by writers. Not to mention it is another "back from dead" story that is overused on this show

I know soap operas age characters up and down at will, however, if we’re to believe that Gabi and Theo are similar in age, and Liam is the same age as Theo, then isn’t it kinda gross having Ari want to date Liam, who’s old enough to be her Dad?

i’ve seen a lot of discussion around how everyone has seemed confused on how her resurrection is different than the others, like Tony, EJ, Vivian, Ava, Jack, so on and so on. The original “Dr Rolf Serum” was injected into all of them mere moments before their death, so they never truly “died”. Bo was different too, he was on ice and needed the 3 prisms to be brought out of his state. With Lexie and the Versifix drug, it was much more macabre. Gwen and EJ had spoke with Rolf about tissue regeneration from the drug in his lab rats. Lexie has been dead for about 15 years, there’s no way her body would have been able to sustain that sort of waiting period even on ice. I think she was more of a corpse by the time their project began, and the Versifix drug “restored” her body first before any brain activity began. What do you think?
