To haanji mere pyaare pyaare juniors , me jo bhi bolunga sach bolunga . Aur bhut aynge defend krege but aap socho if u are a non delhi student kitni mehnat krke 97-98%ile laake aap log yaha aate ho ek umeed ke sath. Me kaafi toot gya hu raaat ko ni paata hu . To please see this carefully:

This college is the worst college in planet if you are a non CSE /IT / MCE students who is targeting tech roles(mainly SDE) in placements . You will not even get the chance of getting shortlist for OA .. and if u luckily got a OA then below 9 cgpa u are already out in most top companies . You will hardly get OA in FAANG and other companies in initial phase of placement season . If u are 9.5+ then high chances that u will get shortlisted for Interviews (Still No guarantee) .

Reality Data of 2026 Placements for EE from july - march

55-60% Students got placed meanwhile in which - In which only 20% got into tech , 30-50% into core and maximum got into sales .

Ab koi kahega - BHAAIIIII BATCH SIZE B DEKH YE DEKH WO DEKH , haa manliaa bhaii .. lekin how is it defendable .. reservation wale bacche hai manlia .. but still ye log kuch to padhe hi honge avg cgpa hai 7.2 hai EE ka ( EE is tough ).. mostly 7.5+ hai , had se had thodi padhai sbne ki hoti hai ki placement lagjaye .. iske liye sab padhai krte hi hai . So you cant defend this , DTU is known for large number of companies , aur bhut sari companies ayi thi. They were biased towards EE .

PC se achi banake rkho agar bina kuch kare place hona hai to ifkyk.

Advice:-

yaha arhe ho to 8.5+ cgpa se kam to sochna b mat agar tech me jana ho. DSA CF level ka hona chaiye . Ache ache project bnao , then there will some chances for getting into tech . Aur mere juniors ap logo ko dara nahi rha hu mai .. merko koi maza nhi aara apne hi college burai krne me bas andar se kaafi toot gya hu .

EE Branch :-

Worst department . Kabhi Sahi result ni dete ye log . Prof egoistic hai .. favouritism b hai idhar . Labs me instruments chalte ni h inke agar confront kro toh apko hi sunadiya jata hai. Final year Btech Project k liye yaha ek b aisa faculty nahi jo apko ache se help . You have to do it by your own . Scoring 7.5+ is lil bit tough , because of competition due to relative grading

Attended 7 interviews =>5 rejected and 2 offers but from sales lol.

7.3CGPA (i k its very bad) , I am skilled above average in my domain . I still m unplaced . May be mere me hi kami rahi hogi kuch . Me hi anpad gawar hounga ..

I had 2 offers but from sales so I rejected them . Now what ? ab koi company nahi aa rhi .. ghar betha hu . Ghar me maa baap ko chehra ni dikha pata hu .. kitni hopes thi unhe - unka ladka DTU me padhra hai 15lpa se to kam me lagega hi ni uska .. hehe bhut bekar lgta hai.

Decided to prepare for GATE CSE 2027... wanna do mtech cse from top IITs.

me maafi chahta hu agar kuch b galat likha ho mene. So yeah berojgaar engineer signing off !!!

So I was the guy who was asking DTU ECE vs PEC cse few days ago at 99.3 %

So today provisional answer key came and I am absolutely sure I will get 99.8 plus %

I WILL NOW GET DTU CSE AS A GENERAL OUTSIDE DELHI

I’ve been thinking about how much college tag really matters during job switches what I’ve observed, DTU doesn’t seem to carry the same weight as IITs for HRs and engineering managers. I observed that candidates from IITs get more attention and callbacks more easily compared to DTUites.

Even recruiters don't know much about DTU/dce, they think it as some avg engg college.

Also, switching jobs doesn’t seem as easy as it used to be. The market feels tougher now, and the difference in college brand value becomes more noticeable during this phase.

Just something I’ve been noticing recently curious if others have felt the same?

As a second year guy in a core branch (electronics), how do you guys even choose a project to add to your resume. I am having a pretty hard time what to work on, i know my interests and i have enough knowledge. Just dont know how to select a "new" project that aint too cliche. Can someone guide please!

Is it advisable to get into bt or ene and then target gate for psu or mtech from IITs?? Im from sc cateogry

Before any hate ...I know im from reserved cateogry and yet failed to score marks but tbh I really worked hard ... had anxiety attacks day before jee too...agar nahi padha hota toh itni tension hi nhi hoti ...But smh I can't score good in exam...ye jee mere liye hai hi nhi ...I want to get into college ASAP and figure out what I want in life

so i am a pcb student getting 94%ile ( have delhi hs quota) i was thinking to apply nios maths for this college is it worth it to join this branch in DTU/NSUT or should i opt for btech cse bioinformatics from vit vellore( cat1-2) (they take pcb only students)
