I'm currently in first year and I do CP. I want to join a society which can help me in my CP journey.

My friend is from Delhi region and I want to take hostel with him in 2nd year. We will most probably take 2 seater hostel So what is criteria for allotment of hostel to delhi students. Is it based on cg, branch, distance from college or they do not get hostel anyway?
