I’ve messed up my setup and want to fix it properly before I push growth again.

I started OF in 2022 and had a few breaks. I used to promote a bit on Reddit and X, but honestly my biggest issue is I’ve barely existed online. I’ve been consistent on OF, but not with promotion, so I’ve mostly just sold to whoever found me.

Now my Reddit got shadowbanned so I’m basically starting again from zero. I’ve just made new IG, Threads and X and actually want to do this properly this time.

Right now I have a free page (selfies, teasers, some PPV on the wall) and a $10 paid page (nudes + discounted PPV). I’ve got 6 paid subs from my free, one buys PPV, the others don’t engage much but they do renew every month.

One thing I haven’t handled well is I don’t really show my apron belly much on my OF yet. A lot of my content is “safe angles”. I’m planning to start showing it more in promo so people know what they’re getting.

I’ve got a bunch of questions, don’t feel obligated to answer all of them, I’m just trying to tighten things up before I scale traffic.

Links / funnel:

Should I be putting my OF links in bios straight away, or grow first then add them?

And is it better to send people straight to paid, or through the free page first?

Pricing / PPV:

I think I’ve undersold my PPV a bit. I see everything from $1–2/min to $30 for 5 mins.

My audience is tiny right now so I get low demand, but I don’t want to train people to expect cheap content.

Also:

I’ve got PPV sitting on my free wall → should I remove or reprice it?

I stopped sending PPV on free because no one was buying

I discount PPV on my paid page… is that a bad idea long term?

Page setup:

I’ve thought about adding a ~$50 no-PPV page and putting all my vids there (around 30 so far), just because I don’t have many buyers yet.

Is that smart at this stage, or does it hurt long-term?

Content that converts:

For IG / Threads / X: what’s actually getting people to sub right now? Personality, teasing, more explicit hints?

Niche:

I feel a bit in between. I’m 30, chubby/curvy, strong (lifting), a bit alt, kinda “good girl” but leaning more domme lately and loving roleplay.

Do I need to lean harder into one lane, or just keep building and let it evolve?

General:

If you were restarting from zero but already had content/pages set up, what would you focus on first?

Howdy! Hope everyone is doing well. I just recently created an OnlyFans account after posting on Reddit and am very excited to start, but I’m at a crossroads and am confused. I’m not sure whether I should do PPV or just focus on the monthly subscription. 

I plan on mostly just creating B/G content, hotwife/bull content, maybe some other stuff too.

I just got some emails about SPH clips being noncompliant because I used the word “teenie” and it’s associated with age play. These banks are out of control. This is completely out of context. I’m sure I’ve said teeny tiny dick, teenie weenie, etc. in most SPH clips.

I have different tiktoks with different niches. Goth, pregnancy, fitness, my regular one, a backup. Well, my pregnancy account suddenly went from 1000s of views to 2-3 views(those views take DAYS) There is no “not recommendable” warning. I can copy link immediately so they aren’t reviewing content. I have ZERO violations. This has now also happened on my fitness account.

Tried every shorts tool out there. Either the output looked like AI slop or it took me 4 hours to make a 30 second reel. Could not justify either.

Started building my own setup in Claude Code over last few weeks. Topic in, reel out. Script, voice, visuals, captions, assembly, basically all in one flow.

Ran the backend for my ex from 2022 til early 2024. Reddit, chatting, ppv, all of it. She did content, I did everything else. Learned most of it the hard way.

Biggest mistake i made for way too long: i was sending PPVs based on when i had time to send them instead of when subs were actually active.

Sounds stupid when i write it out but i’d batch out 30-40 PPVs at like 2pm my time because that’s when i sat down to work. Conversion was ok. Not great.

I finally started actually looking at when individual subs were opening messages and replying. Turned out our top spenders were almost all late night, like 11pm to 2am their timezone. I’d been catching them at work or mid day when they were half paying attention.

Switched to sending PPVs in waves based on sub timezone and past open times. Conversion roughly doubled on the same content. Nothing changed except when the message hit.

The broader lesson i wish i’d internalized sooner: everything on this job is a timing problem disguised as a content problem. Posts, DMs, PPVs, mass messages. You can have the best content in the world and it dies if it lands when the sub is distracted.

Couple other things i got wrong that might save someone time.

Treating every sub the same. Segmenting into new, active, lurking, vip changed everything.

Sending the sales message cold. A throwaway “how was your week” the day before outperformed any hook i tried.

Posting on reddit at “peak hours” everyone talks about. Our best converting posts were usually 10 to 11am EST on weekdays, not the evening slots.

Anyway, curious what mistakes others made that took too long to catch. Feel like this sub is way more useful when people share the stuff that didn’t work 🖤
