I’m currently at work on the clock and was hiding from management during the presale but I just realized I got Powered Car camping and not Preferred Car Camping? Regardless I am going obviously (my so called friends ditched me) but what am I in for with Powered? Is it much of a difference?? First year soloing so hoping to make new friends :)

Why was it so impossible to get passes this time around for Coachella. Do I need to hire bots likes the influencer do lol

Hi! Has anyone successfully gotten off the waitlist before? I joined the W1 VIP waitlist and I’m just wondering if they even get you off it with enough time to plan going.

There's this thing called Meshtastic - it's basically a way to text people without cell service, WiFi, or data.
You use a small device that connects to your phone, and messages "hop" from person to person. So the more people using it, the better it works.

Why it's amazing at a festival:
Service always sucks → this still works
Easy way to find your friends
Works across camps/ crowds
No signal needed at all

I'm thinking of bringing one and maybe setting it up to help everyone connect. If a few of us run it, we could actually build a little network for the whole festival.

4th year going to coachella and ive car camped up until this upcoming year!! Any tips for el dorado?

Is the entrance the same as camping? Different entrance/ parking? Do you get help with luggage or do we need to bring a wagon? Are showers any different? Is the vibe better or worse than car camping??

Ive always lucked out w my neighbors but I want to ensure my sister and I have a great time!! It will be her first coachella :)

First timer. Does camping usually sell out quickly?

Hi everyone! I'll be attending Coachella for the first time next year and doing car camping.

I've already started putting together a wishlist and have been doing some research, but I haven't come across many truck setups. Would anyone be willing to share pictures of their past car camping setups?

It’ll just be two of us and we're planning to sleep in the bed of a Jeep Gladiator with a tent cover. Would you guys recommend getting two 10x10 canopies or is one enough given the space? Any tips or advice are welcome :)

this is my first year camping at coachella and i accidentally got a preferred parking pass. once i realized the preferred camping was all sold out i got the 4 person lodge. no AC is kind of a bummer to me, is it worth the price?

Hi so I did preferred camping with my brother this year instead of AirBNB and LOVED IT (also loved how I saved like 600 from using Uber). I was planning on camping on my own with my bf next year but was waiting for loyalty sale to see the lineup. I saw that preferred camping was sold out and was wondering if more spots would be sold for the loyalty/general sale or if I should join the waitlist asap. Also, would there be a payment plan option or would it charge the full 420 to my account without prior notice if I do join the waitlist? Thank you!

Hi everyone, my group and I opted for group camping this year. We did preferred car camping last year and loved being close to the entrance. We decided to do group camping as lot 5A is closer to the entrance, and also we are all driving from different parts of California, so it was convenient to come in at different times. I just looked at the site and it now states “A plot in lot 5A OR adjacent lots will be held for your group to arrive at leisure. Lot assignment will be based on time of purchase and/or group size.”. I’m just a bit disappointed that we might not get lot 5A and also my entire group purchased our camping spots the day of the sale. On the FEVO website we were ranked #23 w/ 10 cars in our group. We are now ranked #41 due to ranking being based on group size. I also hope we don’t get lot 5A due to group size, as we all did pay early. Does anyone have any experience with FEVO? I see they do group camping for electric forest and was wondering how their experience was. Sorry this is more of just a rant. What are your thoughts on this if you’re doing group camping?

How to get a close spot without a preferred. Do you just show up early? And by early i mean what time are people getting in line to car camp to still receive a coolish, not toooo far spot?
