Palmetto Bugs

Genuinely curious as to what yall are doing to keep the palmetto bugs out. I keep my apartment clean all the time like every other day I vacuum and clean counters and do laundry and I don’t leave food out. I keep my fan running to prevent moisture and I saw two yesterday and two this morning and it’s freaking me out. I’ve lived in the south forever but have always had someone else to kick them out but now I’m living on my own. I don’t think my apartment complex is taking me seriously like I don’t want to live with that at all even if it’s just a bug.

I just moved to Clearwater from Jupiter. While it obviously still gets busy at Jupiter, Juno Beach and Hutchinson Island in Jensen (my favorite beach of all time), my GOD I have never experienced having thousands of people 2 inches from me like I have here. Can't remember what beach I went to here in Clearwater, but it was one that somebody here on reddit said that it was "less busy". Idk what the hell they were talking about but I've never seen a crawling city on a beach. I feel like I can't even relax and have a nice time with that many people around. I am a woman in my 20s so I get pretty paranoid when it's so congested. In Jupiter, even on a Saturday you can walk a bit down the beach and find a spot where there's no people around...

Are there ANY beaches where I'll be able to get some breathing room? Bonus points if there's free parking.

Arriving early, things to do until check-in?

We'll be landing at 8:30 on a Saturday morning in Tampa and our check-in to the beach house isn't until 4:00PM. This will be our third time visiting Clearwater. Looking for some things to keep us occupied until check-in. Preferably things that give you that "ahhh.....the start of my vacation on the beach" relaxed feeling (views, food, drinks). I'm dying to get back to salt shack on the bay for their legendary pina coladas but they don't open until 11:00am.

TIA

They are lying about building up downtown. They just want to control all of it for their own purposes.

Anyone know a good pest control company, think I've got termites!

Anyone know a good pest control company?

Just noticed some small flying insects in my bathroom & what look like wings left behind in the bathroom sink. Google search came up with possibilities that it could be termites.

Mid-tier Strip clubs/massseuses for a first time visitor?

As the title states, going to be spending 4-5 days solo on Clearwater beach for the first time and looking for mid-tier fun. Not exactly looking for the A-list, top tier high priced places, but not the hood, bottom of the barrel places either.

I like my dancers more thin, real, girl next door types. Also prefer English as their first language. I’ve already been recommended “Reign” and “Bare Assets”

(EDIT: ALSO looking for any luxury massage spa’s. Full table shower, sauna, massage experience I am willing to pay more for)

Any that I’m missing? Anyone with a lot of experience able to DM me? Very much appreciated!
