The missing link? Imagining the C63 Sealander in Deep Blue.

I've always considered the C63 Sealander one of the best "GADA" (Go Anywhere, Do Anything) watches on the market, but I feel like a piece is missing from the puzzle: a classic navy blue.

I quickly created this concept to see how the dial would look with a sunray finish in this shade. Pistachio is incredible and modern, but a deep blue would bring that sobriety and versatility that would make this model an instant bestseller.

What do you think? Is this the missing color in the permanent line, or does CW already have too many variations?

Not Another Sealander Post

New watch day! Figured I’d break the Sealander streak around here.

Digging the depth of the dial, thinness, lightweight, and of course the lume. If you can read the “chronometer” text in a pitch black room from the lume alone then it’s probably sufficient, yeah?

I chose this unseen (in person) over the new Hydroconquest. Not disappointed, and definitely appreciate something a little more unique. It’s one of those “pics don’t do it justice” watches. There were moments where the product photos and review videos made it look a bit boring, had me a bit worried TBH, but over the weeks I kept coming back to certain pictures that really struck me and pulled the trigger. Glad I did.

Looks even better in person!

I feel like in some of the media pictures / YouTube reviews this has a more avocado / pistachio mix of a color but it's definitely a true pistachio color in real life.

First CW

Wanted my first CW, really impressed with the quality. Love the tool less link removal system and the micro adjustments gets a really good fit. Feels like it's not on the wrist how light it is and the consort bracelet wraps around the wrist very well. Very happy with my first CW!

New Sealander GMT

Impressed so far. Not sure how much I like the easy link system, but should be a one and done experience.

C63 Sealander…

…has rocketed to the top spot on my favorites list. Absolutely beautiful. Only the second watch that my wife has ever commented on without prompting by me. She “likes” it! 😉 Dial is gorgeous in person. Super comfortable. I-link bracelet works like a charm. Sized in 2 minutes. Crown screws in like butter..always a good sign on finishing. CW has hit it out of the park with this one. Actually like it better than my C60 Trident 300 GMT.

New Sealander 39mm on 6.5” wrist.

Absolutely in love with the new I-link bracelet and the watch itself! My first big watch purchase and I’m happy it was a CW!

Twelve 36mm Glacier Blue vs Tudor Royal 36mm Light Blue

Caught in two minds. Initially ordered the Glacier Blue 36mm Twelve as I was on the market for an integrated sports watch to scratch that genta itch. Wanted something a bit small and slim - understated. The dial looked perfect for summer coming up.

Recently, after seeing the new royals (yet to see in person) I can’t help but think if it’s worth waiting and saving to get the Tudor instead. Yes it’s a superior watch in its movement and construction - but ignoring that, design wise, what do people prefer? I actually think the twelves bracelet is better (more slim and subtle)

(Note: is it me, or is the Twelve rotor noise really loud?)

I-link broke

I was strapping something heavy to my truck and my watch bracelet broke. My watch is fine but I may need a better strap for my lifestyle

New C63 Sealander GMT

Delivered yesterday - overall I’m really happy with the watch design, legibility, etc.!

Not at all happy with the Black Integrated Rubber band….very thin, tapered from the 20mm lugs to a more narrow clasp, and when adjusting smaller, the extra band length is inside on my wrist and likes to peek out. I was expecting something more substantial - unfortunately this wasn’t it.

I’ve sent a note to customer service to return this band for the Consort Bracelet - I’m happy to pay the price difference. I’ve had great service from CW before - I’ll keep you all posted on the outcome!

36mm c63 in blue

First CW watch in the collection, the 36mm is for my girlfriend and I bought the 39mm pistachio dial but it's back ordered to September. Here are some pics.

First impression is solid, feels good and wears comfy.
