Twelve 36mm Glacier Blue vs Tudor Royal 36mm Light Blue

Caught in two minds. Initially ordered the Glacier Blue 36mm Twelve as I was on the market for an integrated sports watch to scratch that genta itch. Wanted something a bit small and slim - understated. The dial looked perfect for summer coming up.

Recently, after seeing the new royals (yet to see in person) I can’t help but think if it’s worth waiting and saving to get the Tudor instead. Yes it’s a superior watch in its movement and construction - but ignoring that, design wise, what do people prefer? I actually think the twelves bracelet is better (more slim and subtle)

(Note: is it me, or is the Twelve rotor noise really loud?)

My Two watch collection

(I also have a Hamilton Murph 38 and Seiko Alpinist, but just these two are all I need)

One and done

(So I tell myself). 36mm - the only correct size for the Explorer (unless you have much larger wrists)
