Buying this for 35k, is it a good deal?
So recently, I’ve been looking at buying a high horsepower rear wheel drive muscle car, so my eyes landed on this 2018 Dodge charger SRT hellcat with 71k miles and a branded title due to rear end damage. I negotiated the price down to 35k otd cash from what they were asking. I was just wondering if this is a good deal before I finalize the purchase. I don’t wanna spend a whole lot of money on a muscle car so my budget is around 40k , I also do not want a car payment so it can’t be too far from that number. The problem I found with this car is that it has a strong weed smell so I was wondering, was the car ever been abused before, there’s also some paint damage on the right rear side, but it seem to run great , engine seems good transmission seems good. This would just be a fun summer car. I have a different car for the winter since I live in New England. I am a 21M, and I also wanted to ask how likely are the police to pull you over when you’re driving a car like this with a loud exhaust and tinted windows.

New-ish to me. Happy to be back apart of the family.

Saved from going to junk yard
Still needs hood and fender liners

Thermostat change side effects
I got the check engine light on the way home yesterday and the scan tool pointed to a thermostat. I changed it and now my mpg as increased from MAX 23mpg to over 30. Definitely needed now with the crazy west coast gas prices
392 , no power with fresh battery and wont recognize the fob …only works when given power by a jumper pack
My 2016 SRT 392 was in storage for the winter , picked it up and had to replace the battery. Started right up and drove it home . Next day went to go for a ride and the car was dead in the water. Car was locked and it had no power so after getting the door open hooked the jumper pack up to it and would only start when i pressed the fob to the push to start
Dash said “key fob not in vehicle” …. I replaced the key fob battery and still nothing . Parked tge car for another day but left doors open just in case this happened again …. Went back a day later and when i opened the door no light no nothing pushed the start button with the fob nothing again…..anyone have any idea

2018 Charger Pursuit
I just bought this 2018 Pursuit and it has some broken window trim, does anyone know what this piece is called or if it can be replaced at all?
Looking for some quick advice
Happy Easter Sunday, I hope your weekend is going well.
I hate to even be here under these circumstances, but I'm looking for some quick advice. My 2007 Charger took some bad damage while parked this past Friday (Both rear wheels blown, frame damage, and haven't seen underneath yet). I'm expecting her to be totaled, if I decide to upgrade in the future, in your opinion what was the last or best year for an r/T?

Hey y’all, do you know what screw or bolt this is?
I removed the 10 mm and 7 mm on the top but don’t recognize what tool I need to remove these ones on the bottom
Drive modes not working
I recently installed the Z automotive tazer and the drive modes won’t work. It’s a 2015 charger with an upgraded uconnect for Apple CarPlay. All I really want is for my sport mode to work. Anyone encounter this before ?

Anti-theft plate
I recently purchase a '17 Charger SE, not top of the line anything, but I'd still like to protect my investment with a good anti-theft device. I bought The Club LX, but I've heard they are just a deterrent for amateurs, but no match for seasoned professional car thieves.
I've seen videos about an anti-theft plate used to prevent thieves from stealing Chargers by preventing them from putting the car in neutral to roll them away and then proceed with the rest of their thieving tactics. The idea is great, but what happens if the driver gets stuck somewhere blocking traffic and can't push the car out of the way because of the plate? If the car needs to be towed, is there another way for the tow person to engage neutral?
I value my car, but I would hate to be caught in a scenario where neutral is necessary, but can't be used. Would carrying the tools in the trunk defeat the purpose of having the plate, or would thieves not even bother trying to find them?
I'm also open to other anti-theft suggestions.
