Is this worth anything?

Need to know, as I’m looking to give it away as part of an alcohol lot for a donation to charity. And don’t want to take peanuts if worth anything. Thanks!😊

Found Some Bottles In Storage

Found these bottles in one of our cellars. Think my uncle who passed away forgot about them in the cellar. Temp and Storage has always been consistent. As the cellar has been running 24/7 since he was in his twenties. Was wondering if these are even drinkable, if they are sellable, and just what you would do with them. If you could also give me a valuation on them that would be helpful. Thank you all and cheers to a good weekend :)

If you could only choose one Champagne from the 2008 vintage, which bottle would you go with? Or if you tasted all of these, how would you rank it:

- Cristal
- Dom Perignon
- Bollinger RD
- Krug 164 (blend based on 2008 vintage)

Marie-Noelle Ledru Cuvee du Goulte 2015 BdN

So I finally got to open my first bottle of Marie-Noelle Ledru. Her Blanc de Noirs Cuvee du Goulte from 2015 and yeah… I absolutely understand why for some she has that cult status

A bit of background: Marie-Noelle Ledru was basically the ultimate “if you know, you know” Champagne producer. Tiny production, old school as hell organic farming, almost zero intervention and then she retired in 2016. No new wine coming, barely any stock left and every bottle opened just makes the remaining supply more mythical. That scarcity has turned Ledru into absolute Champagne nerd catnip and probably one of the biggest cult-object producers in grower Champagne. Also, if you’ve ever seen interviews with her, she comes across like the nicest Champagne grandma imaginable.

The wine itself feels completely unpolished in the best way. 100% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay and it drinks more like serious wine first, Champagne second..gotta love that. But this one ain't definitely not trying to be a crowd pleaser though.

The nose was wild right away: blood orange, baked apple, dried flowers, chalk and this oxidative edge that gives it so much personality. Nothing feels polished or engineered and that’s exactly the point.

What stood out most was the texture and tension. On the palate it’s chalky, savory, structured and kinda stern at first, but it keeps opening and getting more interesting with air. It feels honest, alive and stubbornly individual. You really get the sense this came from one person’s stubborn vision instead of a committee, which feels very fitting overall coming from a Grande Dame like Ledru.

Totally understand why people hoard these now although the availability and the price definitely will not turn this into something I'd genuinely (want) to hoard. But if I'd stumble upon one again for a somewhat reasonable price - I'd be tempted. All in all, this is the kind of bottle that makes the grower Champagne people unbearable for a reason haha.

Proper storage for this champagne

I am extremely new to all of this (drinking in general). I was given this bottle of champagne and I would like to save it for a special occasion. I was told to keep it in the refrigerator by the person who gave it to me.

Recently I saw something on Instagram about how you should store champagne for more than a few months maybe a couple of years and now I keep seeing different answers for how long and where to store it.

I understand there are many different kinds of champagne and various ways of storing, so can someone who is knowledgeable please tell me how I should store this? I don't want it to go bad.

Thank you in advance!

Found this in my cellar, obviously all the labels and everything are there but I cannot find a single thing on the internet about it. I also haven’t had a Leclerc Bryant this old so I just want some info on it. If it’s good? What is rarity of this special edition? Valuation? It’s not even on the producers vintage list on their website it’s gorgeous.

1964 Dom Perignon

I have a bottle of 1964 Dom that was given to me by a family member. It is unopened and the wax seal appears to be in tact. I don’t know if it was stored in ideal conditions or not, but I can see in the wine that there is a fair bit of sediment in the bottle. Is this champagne worth anything and/or is it safe to drink?

These are all sealed!!

How much do these usually go for? I tried looking online but don’t really see anything. Any help?

There are a couple of champagne focused subscriptions out there, Fatcork seems to be one of the more interesting ones.

Any thoughts about this or any other subscription service?

Sunset vibes + bubbly — Brut or Rose?

Took these beauties out for a golden hour moment by the water - the classic Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut and the Rose Imperial.

Brut = crisp, citrusy, super refreshing

Rosé = fruit-forward, a little richer, perfect for that romantic vibe

Honestly, both hit differently depending on the mood.

If you had to pick just one for a sunset like this… what are you going with?

I wanna attempt a champagne spray photo shoot.
Does the quality of the champagne matter? Will the cheap stuff spray just as good as more expensive stuff?
Pic for what I wanna try
