Looking for a new car and I’ve been eyeing the TRD but I want to make sure I pick the right one. Looking for one that balances performance and looks the BEST out of them all.
What else should I do to my Camry? Everything is stocked right now.
TRDs in my area of the 4 corners is insanely expensive for no reason. Mid 30s to high 30s for TRDs with 30-50k miles. Vegas got em for 40k 🤦Saw one with about 90k miles and they want 29k before taxes 😭 Even rebuilt titles are going for high 20s that had pretty bad front end damage. Found a 2020 with 50k miles for 23k no taxes.. cheapest I've seen.. BUT. Rebuilt title. Only damage was the rear quarter panel that's minor. Airbags in tact. Front end was untouched.. currently don't have a daily. My Lexus RCF is superchargered but can't really daily that car.. what y'all think? It's absurdly insane that rebuilt titles are high 20s.. even in 20s in general despite milage.. been searching for weeks. Can't even find xse V6. Should I suffer and wait? Lol
I still have my Michelin mxm all seasons and I plan changing my tires at the end of the year when I change my wheels and get coilovers. But I’m not sure if I wanna say fuck it we ball and go Michelin PS4s summer tires or go the safer route and go psas4 (pilot sport all season4) Michelin all season for my trd? These would be daily tires going for all year round. I’ve heard PS4s are pretty solid in light rain and are pretty durable til you get down below 45 degrees-ish but I just wanted to know if any of you have any of these tires and consider to get one or the other?
Does anyone have any advice on hardwiring a radar detector?
I would usually tap into the auto dimming mirror, but this car does not have one.
I am very hesitant about taping into the front facing camera.
Any advice?
This side panel piece that’s attached to the side duct vent came off my car. I took it to Toyota and they told me there was a kit that come with a pair (for both sides to be replaced) but they told me it was $480. So I’m wondering if this is my only option in replacing this piece. 2020 Avalon TRD
I had my windshield tinted about two weeks ago with 50% ceramic tint. I've noticed a slight blurriness in the middle to bottom part of the windshield. I called the mobile tint installer who did the job, and he came by to take a look. He said that the issue is with the glass itself and mentioned that some Toyota windshields have this problem. He also said he has a Highlander and experiences the same issue. He explained that it's not the tint, but the glass that causes the blurriness. He removed the entire tint and replaced it with new tint, but after driving the car this morning, the blurriness is still there. Has anyone else experienced this issue when tinting their windshield?
So I have a 2020 Camry trd and I just replaced the battery a week ago. I was out grabbing coffee starting down at my phone in the parking lot and the car just completely shut off after I think it was 20 minutes of me sitting there. Is that normal?
