Does anyone have any advice on hardwiring a radar detector?

I would usually tap into the auto dimming mirror, but this car does not have one.

I am very hesitant about taping into the front facing camera.

Any advice?

Just got a new car and I am installing a dash cam. Is this route safe?

Tucked behind weatherstripping, down a piller, back up by windshield.

Just wanted to be safe around the airbag. Thankyou.
