X-men 94 grading
I sold my copy years ago before they released the X-Men movie so now I am re-acquiring my grail. What do you guys think of this? I plan to have it pressed and graded!

This came today from the McFarlane signing and I couldn't be happier.
Hi everyone! I’m new to comic collecting and just received this from someone. What grade do you think it would get? I added pictures of the most noticeable damages to my eye.
It's gonna go great with my Archie meets the Punisher and Archie x Army of Darkness
Just noticed 'Top Pop' on my submission and researched to find that it means that it has achieved the single highest numerical grade assigned by CGC for that specific item in the CGC Census. Nothing special, but kinda fun.
Is this the only one graded with those 3 sigs at a 9.8 or did they not enter them all into their report yet😂 i saw people getting these back for a while now soo i was like maybeeeee lmao
Hi - been collecting 40+ years and have a few cgc but never submitted any myself so just looking for some opinions on this ones grade. thanks!
Not great a grading myself so would love some thought! I would have it cleaned and pressed
Finally got one! Signed by the two boys, love the contrasting colors, really stands out on display. Absolute Batman 1 from DC.
Sketched and signed by Todd at D23 in 2022. Wanda also signed the inside cover. One of the loveliest celebrity interactions I’ve ever had. I smile every time I look at it!
If you were wondering why it doesnt Show Graded Pop atm
So on a scale from 1-10, 0 is literally pieces of a comic, 1-3 is low, 4-6 is mid/average, 7-9.8 is high, 9.9 is mint and 10 is gem mint perfection.
With that being said…a 9.0, 9.2, 9.4, or even a 9.6 isn’t even low. The freaking out over not getting a 9.8 is borderline not healthy.
I’m probably gonna get downvoted by the obsessives but it won’t break my heart!
With that being said, what are your personal thoughts on the skewed grades numbers amongst collectors?
I just got The Uncanny X-Men 283 first full appearance of Lucas Bishop in, and from my childhood X-Men Adventures #1 from the cartoon that came out in the 90s.
Considering crack and regrade for a 9.8 prescreen
Sent this in on a whim, not knowing if I would ever get the chance to meet either Scott or Nick in the wild. They both killed it with the placement and colors! I could not be happier!
I know modern hype books aren’t for everyone but, for me, this will be a centerpiece of my collection for many years to come!
Long story… I got out of collecting around 2003. I still loved comics but focused on other hobbies instead. My typical process prior was buy from my LCS and immediately bag and board every single book. When I read them, I did so with gloves and very clinically. Yes, it was excessive but also left me with nearly flawless copies. If the stories were great, I’d buy the TPB to read more often.
Fast forward to March 2021 as I was slogging through the pandemic. I finished an episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and saw an ad on my Fire TV for an Invincible TV show but didn’t think anything of it. However, I did remember that somewhere in a long box in my basement I had a Captain America series Truth: Red, White and Black that had an appearance by the first black Captain America, Isaiah Bradley.
What I found left me speechless… while I did have that Capt. series, perfectly preserved in the long box, right next to it was something far more valuable. Apparently, I had long forgotten and unread copies of Invincible 1 and 2. I missed the boat on the entire series, as if it never existed. Needless to say, I nearly had a heart attack when I searched the sold listings for Invincible on eBay. After some thought, I decided that the hype was high enough to make a quick cash sale for $1,200-1,500 locally on Marketplace. Little did I know that about twice a year since then I’d look at the same sold listing search and watch them climb higher and higher than I ever thought possible.
Now, in March of 2026 I have decided to get back into collecting and have always wondered “What if?” So, Reddit what do you say? If I had kept them and submitted to CGC how would they have graded? I know what I think but will reserve my number until a few responses come in.
I'm struggling to add a comic to my collection on the CGC website. Wolverine/Hercules:Gods, Myths, and Monsters, doesn't exist anywhere I can find.
I login, click "My Collection", "Comic Set Manager", and I no matter how I search, I can't find the CGC book I just bought?
It's been slabbed for awhile(old label), and I verified the Cert# on the home page, it pulls the issue info.
This isn't the first time, but the first time I've had Reddit to Ask!
Clicking to request a "New Competitive Set" takes me to a link from 2017.
I have the most basic membership. The step-by-step guide doesn't help. Why is so tough for the company who created these to have them in their database? Any help so I can add a bunch of comics I can't find?
Appreciate it in advance!
