Bulk, cut, maint? 25M 5’7” 156lbs

I’ve been cutting for summer after trying a failed lean bulk for a few months. Currently at 2100 calories, 5 days lifting, 45min cardio 4 days. I want to have abs for the first time in my life and I feel like I’m close??

Should I keep cutting or just maintain?

Should bulk, cut or maintain for summer?

Not sure what my body fat % is but I’m 24, 202lbs/92kg and 5’10. Photos were taken an hour after a workout so I have a slight pump.

Do I Keep Bulking Past 182? (23, 5’8, 176lbs)

Need advice on if I should keep the bulk going. This is my first consistent bulk (it’s hard for me to gain). My leanest while lifting consistently was 150lbs (abt 4 years ago). Around May 2025 I was 160, and after that I started bulking consistently and I’ve gained 16lbs since then now being at 176. My original plan was to push to 178 but I’m not sure if I should push past it to around 182 or not.

160lbs: second group

Now (176): third group

Cutting Male 20, 6”2/170lbs

I’m currently in a cutting phase, about 6–8 weeks in after a bulk. I’ve gone from 90 kg (198 lbs) down to 77 kg (170 lbs). I’m a 20-year-old male, 188 cm (6’2).

These photos are taken while flexed. I was wondering if anyone could estimate my current body fat percentage and give advice on how to get leaner more shredded, ideally to the point where my abs are visible even when not flexing, with increased vascularity.

For context, I lift heavy 5-6 times per week, do 45 minutes of incline walking 4 times per week, average over 10,000 steps daily, and run a 5-6km once a week. My current intake is around 1,500 calories: 183g protein, 54g fat, and 82g carbs.

Any advice would be great. 🙏

Bulk or cut

Hi, I am always spinning my wheels on whether to bulk or cut. Im fairly strong on my lifts in the gym, but I feel skinny fat. With summer coming up I am really not sure whether I should be trying to lean bulk or cut. I’m 6’ and fluctuate between 161 and 163 for what it’s worth. I’ve been trying to cut recently, but notice my strength slipping and feeling a TON of food noise. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

25m 6’3. Started at 265 but got down to 174 lbs over the past year. Should I continue losing fat or start committing to getting muscle and bulking? I feel as though my chest and shoulders need extra work. The goal is to look good for tattoos

How much long till I see visible pack? 32m 180cm tall around 75kg I haven't stepped on a scale for 4 months. I might be even heavier or lighter, I have no idea.

Bulk or cut to look better for summer?

I’ve been recomping for the last 5ish months to look better for the summer. I’d say I’m nailing it so far but what to do now?

I’m 184cm / 83kg, abs starting to show but I’ve started a lean bulk +300kcal to look a bit bigger for the summer. By summer I mean end of July (my 32md birthday). Plan is to keep bulking clean for the 3 months, than aggressive cut for four weeks of July. I’ve done them before, got my diet dialed in, training dialed in, think I can make it. What You think?

Is it possible to get down to 12% bodyfat by summer? How?

I'm 5,9, 66kg, probably 18 to 19% Bodyfat. Do I still got time to get down to 12%? I started the cut last week, eating below 1500 calories a day. I will add 1-2h of cardio a day to it on top of weightlifting 3 to 4 times a week.

Do I have enough muscle mass to get lean for the summer?

Context: I've been skinny most of my life, and I want to get lean for the summer because I've never had actual abs, but I'm not sure if I have enough muscle mass or not to look good after a controlled cut without being too small.

Bulk, Recomp, or Cut?

Stats: 24F, 5’2”, 119lbs, Training for 4 years, 6x a week (PPL/Arnold split)

Just finished a 15 week cut from 129 lbs to 119 lbs and am transitioning to maintenance for at least a month or two to shake off the diet fatigue. But I’m not sure where to go after.

Despite being the leanest I’ve ever been, I still feel like I could stand to lose a bit more. At the same time, I’m starting to see weak points where I want to build more muscle (my legs are small, ik 🥲). So I’m torn between 3 options:

  1. Long maintenance / slow recomp: stay here a while, see what happens

  2. Mini cut: final push to drop the last few lbs of fat, then start a bulk

  3. Bulk: accept where I’m at and prioritize muscle growth
