Hi all! My roommate is moving out so we’re looking for someone to fill his spot/room in our lease! The two of us remaining are men in our 20s (well I’m getting near to 30), quiet clean and respectful roommates with guests over once in a while but generally a chill vibe, 420 friendly. We both like to cook and have a well-furnished kitchen and living room, and my room and the soon-vacant room share an office room (only furnished with stuff of mine for now but room to add another desk, etc). You would be renting the back bedroom as well as a shared office & bathroom. The current occupant is willing to part with some furniture, so if you'd like anything thrown in please ask. Bedroom features a very tell closet, tall ceiling, exposed brick, and fire escape access. The rent is 1284 per person month (we just divide the total three ways), there is a shared bathroom for the two rooms that share the office (pictured) and another bathroom for the third, larger bedroom + guests. I am fairly available for the next couple of weeks to schedule any visits from interested parties! There’s no in-building laundry but there is a very close laundry spot around the corner, as well as multiple great takeout places that make this area a highlight for me. Hello! My roommate is moving out so I’m looking to have someone move into her room in our 2 br/1b East Flatbush apartment. I’ve been here for about three years and would love to find someone else who is interested in staying long-term if we end up being a great fit! It’s a super spacious pre-war apartment with lots of natural light and a super responsive landlord. Looking for someone who can move in ASAP by May 1st/2nd, but flexible on a May move in. The first month and security deposit would be due by move in.

Additional details:

- Rent is $950 pp

- Utilities usually range from around $100 dollars per month (inclusive of wifi, gas, and water bills)

- Apartment is on the first floor

- The room can fit a queen or full bed w room for a dresser and/or desk. There’s also some a good amount of closet space. It comes unfurnished (although happy to connect you with my current roommate if there’s anything you’d like to take that she may be leaving behind).

- While there are no amenities in the apartment, there are a couple laundromats within distance (10 minutes or less of walking time depending on your laundromat of choice) and you’re able to add in an A/C unit in the bedroom

- While the rest of the apartment is fully furnished, I’m definitely looking to swap out some worn furniture (think couch, dining room table, etc.)

- I have 1 cat! While he does warm up quickly to other humans, I think that it would be too much to have another pet in the apartment.

My ideal roommate is in their mid to late 20's, preferably a fellow Black or Brown woman/non-binary person, and has a stable, full-time job! I mostly work from home so it’d be nice to have a roommate who is hybrid/goes in person, but not a requirement by any means. No application is required but because this is rent-controlled, I’d like my next roommate to be someone who can continue to help keep up our apartment’s great condition and doesn’t have plans to leave the city within the next year or so.
