"march in place" is a travel?

if you gather the ball and then take 2 steps...(march in place the 2 steps)... is that a travel?

Form check.

11 year old, working on getting away from a push and into proper form. Does she hold the ball too high in front of her face, or is it just that she’s holding it there longer than one would in a game situation? Just looks off to me.

looking for video of Klay explaining shooting

hey folks, years ago I remember seeing a video of Klay Thompson explaining how to warm your shot. it had elements of his video "Shoot with great form" and also elements of the hand in the cookie jar shooting form. In that video, he explained how he is always starting shooting next to the basket, and as he makes enough perfect shots, he keeps getting further away. You don't start shooting by hoisting threes.

does anyone remember this? It is possible i am hallucinating and it was not Klay, but i do remember the video. All my google-fu and chatgpt skills could not turn this up. help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

Lifting/Shooting Advice

Hey y’all first time poster.

I’m 24 M, 5’11 ~155 lbs.

I’ve been hooping my whole life but generally been on the skinner side. I’ve relied on my speed/quickness while playing and have had some success but I’m trying to get stronger.

Wanted to know if anyone had a good gym split to get stronger? Right now I hoop 2-3x a week.

In my men’s leauge my jump-shot comes and goes and I usually rely on my speed to attack the basket where I am fairly successful. However I do come across some players who are stronger and can kind of keep up speed-wise so I struggle to score efficiently against them.

Since my jump shot has also been inconsistent, I’m trying to incorporate both lifts and shooting workouts to get overall stronger and more consistent with my shooting.

Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!

Im 14 5,4 looking to increase my vert

Right now my vertical is roughly 22-25 inches give or take and I was wondering how I could increase it, next year Im going to highschool and may join the basketball team, I know other factors matter more than being springy to be good at the game but I enjoy trying to increase my vertical so if there is any tips to increase it that would be much appreciated, at some point I want to be able to dunk but next year ill likely be 5,7-8 and I dont know if thats tall enough to dunk
