Need a new car and I’ve shortlisted a 2021 330i touring. I have an infinity q50 under the radar with.Never driven a BMW before but wondering if a 330i is the right choice or not worth it unless you go for the 430i ?. Kind of concerned of being ‘disappointed’ with a ‘boring’ 4 cylinder BMW Again, never driven a BMW so not sure if there is much difference between the 330i and the 430i

Anybody have/compare both? Looking at a CPO 23' i4 edrive35 for around ~30k and a CPO 24' ps2 with performance pack for around ~36k

Real world range seems like its ~250-300 for the i4 with good weather. Is the ps2 going to be similar? Also seems like the i4 will be more efficienct as its only a 67kwh battery.

Also concerned about potential service as the local bmw dealer is ~20 minutes aware whereas closest polestar is ~1 hour. Also concerned about polestar potentially going under?

BMW cpo also has 72 month financing at 2.99% and polestar has 60 month at 3.99% (putting down ~15k)

I leased my 2024 i4 edrive in August of 2024 and am already at 26k, but set the lease at 12k a year. Do I start paying more now? Or do I wait until right before the lease is up in August of 2027?

How do I upgrade that option?

Hi All, new to the M50 fam with a 2023. I'm noticing a really low pitched vibration or shuddering sound that last about 0.25sec and happens randomly maybe once a minute while idling. I think it might not happen if climate controls aren't running. Is this normal?

I have a 25 i4. The car is great to drive but the range is pretty low. When charged to 90% I get 220 miles max on a 65 degree day. Is that what everyone else is maxing at?

I'm looking to buy an i4, probably a 2022-2023 model, so out or almost out of the 4 year warranty by now, and this issue scares me a bit. I've seen people say BMW fixes it for free, others said it was a 3k€ job, others have been quoted 21k to replace the motor.

Is there any info on how widespread this is ? I read the 2022-23 models are more affected than the others, but I'm wondering if this issue is an "if" or a "when", as I don't want to buy a car and be quoted half its price 3 months later to fix this issue.

Hi, my question is all in the title. What I've noted so far for the changes post face lift are :

-No more shift lever

-Slightly different exterior

-Updated infotainment system (does it make a difference in everyday driving ?)

Is there anything else that I should know about ? There are a lot of intersting deals on 2022-2023 i4 in my country, and I'd like to know if there is an actual incentive to go for a newer, pricier version or not.

Also, I'm debating between getting an edrive40 or M50. Both are extremely close price wise (like 2-3k difference for the same mileage). How different are they in terms of comfort and cabin noise at highway speeds ? Are there any reliability issues I should know about that are version specific ? I plan on keeping this car long term and I drive 25k km/year, the car will probably have 150k+ when I sell it, so I'd like to know ahead of time if I should expect pricy repairs.

Hey everyone, I've been using DAPP during my highway commute, especially in stop-and-go traffic. While the lane centering is ok, I'm struggling to trust the braking.

Often when the car in front stops, I feel like my car isn't slowing down fast enough. It gets so close that I usually freak out and slam the brakes myself to avoid a rear-end collision. Even in hands-free mode, I’m constantly hovering my foot over the pedal because I'm nervous it won't stop in time.

Is this just how the system is tuned, or should I be worried? Has anyone actually had it fail to stop, or am I just being paranoid? Also, does changing the following distance make it start braking earlier, or does it just change the gap?

I'm generally buy my cars and keep them for about 5-7 years until the maintenace becomes an issue. With this being an EV I'm actually on the fence. Thoughts?
