Pulled the trigger. My first brand new car and my first BMW!
I was originally looking for used or CPO, but it became too difficult to find one with the options I wanted. Ended up with DAPP, PAP, Premium package, Vernasca leather. Got a great lease deal and had the dealer throw in some protection packages for almost free.
Could be controversial, but I appreciated the extra lightness and tossability if the e40 more than the extra speed of the m50.
I really couldn't be happier. It's a huge upgrade from my last car that I drove for 16 years. Who knew you could actually love commuting?!
