220 in the first attempt, hoping for 250 in this second attempt

so guys i got 90.09%ile in JEE and 162 in BITSAT-1
should i prepare for ADV or BITSAT 2?
tbh i have no hope in clearing ADV and will i be able to secure a seat at BITS starting from now? 😭 ( I'm trying for ECE, in any campus )
if i should study for BITSAT, how should i prepare
please guide me i wanna get into a good college, i know nothing 😭🙏

Mere BITSAT s1 me itne hi aaye the cuz I dint study at all (ghar pe bahut kuch chal raha tha and my mental health was fucked up)

I just gave it a month after my boards and jo bhi kuch yaad tha utna hi Kiya. I genuinely want to improve in the second attempt and mujhe pata hai ki bahut log ko lagta hai it's impossible..

So for the people who think I can do it, can y'all give me some tips to get at least 250 tak🫠🫠

PS: Ek bhi mock sahi se nahi diya abt tak cuz I genuinely zone out during the test

I swear this system makes zero sense.

Preparing for BITSAT, first attempt me 240+ aa gaya. Tab laga ki thoda aur push karke 270–280 easily nikal jayega.

Aur wahi ho raha hai, mocks me ab consistently 265–275 la raha hun ( Mocks ab mein crackIT naam ka platform mein de rha hun, koi promo vomo nhi hai, my mom bought it because some BITS senior recommended it, its pretty good tbh, no regrets).

Matlab exam clear karne ki capability hai, no doubt about that.

But guess what? Boards: 74% 🤡

Aur haan, “padh leta toh aa jata” wala case bhi nahi hai. Theory theek gayi thi, practicals me pura scam ho gaya. External ne marks kaat diye, school ne kuch support nahi kiya, aur final percentage seedha tank.

Aur sabse bada L kya hai? Maine boards ko utna seriously liya hi nahi. Kyun? Kyunki dimaag me bas JEE Main ka 99+ chal raha tha. Socha tha boards toh side quest hai, ho hi jayega 75+.

Ab dekh lo, na 99 aaya, na 75%. Perfect combo to ruin everything 👍

Aur ab BITSAT ke liye din raat grind kar raha hu, scores aa rahe hai, but ek stupid 75% criteria gatekeeper ban ke khada hai.

Like seriously?? Ek banda 180–200 laake eligible hai Aur main 260–270 laake bhi not eligible??

Matlab merit ka kya scene hai bhai?? Exam me perform karne ka kya fayda jab entry hi nahi milegi?

It just feels so unfair. Tum actual paper me prove kar sakte ho that you belong there, but boards ka ek number tumhe bahar rakh deta hai.

Ab option kya hai? Improvement exam deke ek aur saal risk lo? Ya accept karu ki ye pura BITS dream bas ek percentage ki wajah se khatam?

Anyone else in this same mess? Ya main hi akela clown hu 🤡

BITSAT S2 is around the corner and I don’t think I’m okay anymore. I’ve been studying for months, sacrificing everything, and still my scores are nowhere near where they should be.

It just feels like a pattern at this point, I’ve already messed up JEE Main, scored 85.4%ile, even after grinding in kota, couldn’t get what I wanted there, JEE Advanced feels out of reach, and now BITSAT was supposed to be my backup but even that is slipping.

Every exam I wrote, I went in thinking this is the one where things turn around, and every time it just didn’t. Every mock now just makes it worse, either I mess up accuracy, or I panic midway, or I just blank out completely.

And then I come here and see people casually scoring 280–300+ and it genuinely makes me feel like I’ve failed already.

I know it sounds stupid to say this over exams, but right now it doesn’t feel small at all, it feels like everything I’ve worked for is collapsing and I can’t fix it in time.

The pressure from myself, from expectations, from the clock ticking is too much.

I’m not even scared of the exam anymore, I’m just tired and honestly having really dark thoughts that I didn’t expect I’d ever have because of something like this.

I don’t know how to handle this or what I’m supposed to do in these last days, if anyone has been in a similar place or has any advice, please help

Main koi topper background se nahi aata… normal middle class family hai, fees ka tension real hai, aur honestly pressure bhi. Jab JEE Mains ka result aaya aur sirf around 96%ile mila, tab sab thoda blank sa ho gaya. General category mein wo score matlab almost kuch bhi secure nahi… ghar pe kisi ne kuch bola nahi, but andar se pata tha expectations toot gaye the. Us time pe BITSAT hi ek realistic chance lag raha tha, but problem ye thi ki maine usko kabhi seriously prepare hi nahi kiya tha.

Pehla BITSAT mock diya toh reality aur zyada hit ki. Low 200s, paper complete nahi hua, aur itni silly mistakes ki baad mein khud pe gussa aa raha tha. Tab laga shayad main is level ka hi hoon. But fir maine decide kiya ki last 30 to 40 days jo bhi hai, poora push karunga.

Then mera mummy ne youtube dekhe crackIt aur mathongo ka mocks purchase kiya, I got added in the premium community of crackIT as well, there were bitsians guiding me.

Pehle 8 to 10 mocks bohot rough the. 240 to 250 ke aas paas atka hua tha. Har baar lagta tha thoda aur focus karta toh 20 marks aur aa jaate. Video solutions(crackIT mein, not mathongo) dekhke realise hua ki main galat jagah effort daal raha hoon.

Physics mein overattempt, Maths mein ek question pe atak jana, aur sabse badi galti English aur LR ko lightly lena.

Ek din ka moment mujhe yaad hai. Raat ke 2 baje mock analyse kar raha tha, aur literally samajh aa gaya ki problem knowledge ki nahi hai.

No more one shots, or late night studying is going to help, bas practice krna padega ab.

Us din ke baad maine apna pattern change kiya. Pehle easy picks, strict time control, aur LR ko scoring section treat karna. Dheere dheere scores stable hone lage. Panic kam hone laga.

Actual attempt mein around 250 aa gaye. Kisi ke liye average hoga, but mere liye wo proof tha ki main improve kar sakta hoon. Aur sabse important, ab second attempt ke liye clarity hai.

Ab bas ye plan hai

2 to 3 din mein ek full mock but full serious mode mein

Har mock ka brutal analysis, khud ko jhooth nahi bolna

JEE Mains PYQs timed, especially 2019 to 2020 for speed

English aur LR ko free marks mindset

Kabhi kabhi lagta hai kaash pehle samajh aata, but shayad ye hi process hai. Agar tum bhi 95 to 97 percentile range mein ho, general category ho, aur thoda lost feel kar rahe ho, main relate kar sakta hoon.

BITSAT theory se nahi, problem solving se crack hota hai… aur wo last 30 days mein bhi build ho sakta hai.

Ab second attempt ka mock tests shuru….

bhai main bhi koi 11th se olympiad topper type banda nahi tha, mera prep bhi kaafi average hi tha initially. JEE Mains mein decent score aaya but kuch extraordinary nahi, aur honestly main bhi BITSAT ko pehle utna seriously nahi le raha tha. pehla mock diya tha toh 240s mein atka hua tha, paper complete nahi hua, aur bahar aake sirf regret feel hua ki “ye kar sakta tha, wo kar sakta tha”.

us phase mein sabse bada issue knowledge nahi tha, control nahi tha. har question pe jump karna, tough questions mein atak jaana, aur end mein time khatam.

turning point tab aaya jab maine accept kiya ki problem meri preparation nahi, meri approach hai. uske baad maine bas mocks pe focus kiya. har 2 to 3 din mein ek full mock, aur usse bhi zyada time analysis pe. literally har galti likhta tha, kis type ki hai aur kyun hui. dheere dheere patterns clear hone lage, kaunse questions turant pick karne hain, kaunse skip karne hain, aur kab section switch karna hai. english aur lr pe pehle dhyaan nahi deta tha, but jab usko seriously liya tab realise hua ki ye sabse low effort high return section hai.

last 20 to 25 days mein mera score 270s se 300+ jump hua, and final attempt mein 312 aaya. aur sach bolu toh wo jump kisi naye chapter se nahi aaya, wo sirf better decision making aur calmness se aaya.

isliye tum logon ko ek hi advice hai, abhi bhi time hai but galat direction mein mat bhaago. naya padhne se zyada important hai jo aata hai usko sahi use karna. mocks ko exam treat karo, analysis ko prep treat karo. ego hatao, apni mistakes accept karo, aur unko fix karo. english aur lr ko ignore mat karo, free marks hai. aur sabse important, kisi aur ka score dekhke apna mindset mat hilao.

BITSAT unpredictable hai, but ek cheez predictable hai, jo banda last month mein adapt karta hai wo hi upar jata hai. agar tum consistent rahe, toh jump possible hai, maine khud experience kiya hai.

Been giving mock tests from crackIT since the last 1month, Ive been scoring in the 240 to 270 range, even in BITSAT session 1 i got around 260.

My parents wont send me to bits unless i get computer science in BITS Pilani, and tbh seat bhi kaafi expensive hai.

And advanced mein honestly zyaada umeed nhi hai, because I dont want anything aprt from CS in top IITs.

 How do I push beyond the 300 mark?
