Battery internal Resistance and Voltage Sag

I’ve been looking into voltage sag issues and started focusing on internal resistance in lithium batteries. What I’m noticing is that higher loads cause a sharper voltage drop, and even when the battery has enough capacity, performance still dips under load. It also seems like BMS limits can make the issue more noticeable.

I’m trying to understand how much inverter design can compensate for battery resistance, whether some systems are better at smoothing out these voltage drops, and if higher PV input can reduce reliance on the battery during peak demand enough to help solve the problem.

Patients lost 12-18% body weight and improved metabolic parameters

HIV-associated lipodystrophy (fat redistribution) affects up to 50% of people on long-term antiretroviral therapy. It causes peripheral fat loss (arms, legs, face) AND central fat accumulation (belly, breasts, upper back, the "buffalo hump"). Metabolic complications include severe insulin resistance and dyslipidemia.

Treatment has been limited (metformin, growth hormone, switching ARVs). A new case series in AIDS Research and Therapy followed 12 patients with HIV lipodystrophy placed on semaglutide or tirzepatide.

Results after 6 months:

Average weight loss: 14.6% (range 6-22%)

Waist circumference reduced by 8-12 cm

Triglycerides dropped by 35%

Two patients were able to reduce antihypertensive medications

Importantly, the medications were well-tolerated despite concerns about GI side effects in a population already prone to GI issues from other meds.

This is a small case series (n=12), not a controlled trial. But it's promising for a condition with few options. I don't have HIV, but I have friends who do. They've struggled with unpredictable body changes from their meds. If GLP-1s can help, that's huge.

Breaking down NAD+ injection cost monthly, clinic vs telehealth

Trying to figure out if NAD+ injections are financially sustainable long term. Here's what I found comparing options.

Local clinic: $200-350/month depending on frequency and whether it's IV or subcutaneous. Appointment required, travel time, scheduling friction on top of that.

Telehealth like gimme: $129/month on a month-to-month plan, $93/month on the 3-month plan. Home kit included, no appointments, free shipping. The math on telehealth makes sense if you're comfortable self-injecting at home, which isn't a big deal for subcutaneous. Just wanted to share the comparison since pricing in this space isn't always transparent.

96%ile, general category... aur fir BITSAT ne last 15 days mein story change kar di

Main koi topper background se nahi aata… normal middle class family hai, fees ka tension real hai, aur honestly pressure bhi. Jab JEE Mains ka result aaya aur sirf around 96%ile mila, tab sab thoda blank sa ho gaya. General category mein wo score matlab almost kuch bhi secure nahi… ghar pe kisi ne kuch bola nahi, but andar se pata tha expectations toot gaye the. Us time pe BITSAT hi ek realistic chance lag raha tha, but problem ye thi ki maine usko kabhi seriously prepare hi nahi kiya tha.

Pehla BITSAT mock diya toh reality aur zyada hit ki. Low 200s, paper complete nahi hua, aur itni silly mistakes ki baad mein khud pe gussa aa raha tha. Tab laga shayad main is level ka hi hoon. But fir maine decide kiya ki last 30 to 40 days jo bhi hai, poora push karunga.

Then mera mummy ne youtube dekhe crackIt aur mathongo ka mocks purchase kiya, I got added in the premium community of crackIT as well, there were bitsians guiding me.

Pehle 8 to 10 mocks bohot rough the. 240 to 250 ke aas paas atka hua tha. Har baar lagta tha thoda aur focus karta toh 20 marks aur aa jaate. Video solutions(crackIT mein, not mathongo) dekhke realise hua ki main galat jagah effort daal raha hoon.

Physics mein overattempt, Maths mein ek question pe atak jana, aur sabse badi galti English aur LR ko lightly lena.

Ek din ka moment mujhe yaad hai. Raat ke 2 baje mock analyse kar raha tha, aur literally samajh aa gaya ki problem knowledge ki nahi hai.

No more one shots, or late night studying is going to help, bas practice krna padega ab.

Us din ke baad maine apna pattern change kiya. Pehle easy picks, strict time control, aur LR ko scoring section treat karna. Dheere dheere scores stable hone lage. Panic kam hone laga.

Actual attempt mein around 250 aa gaye. Kisi ke liye average hoga, but mere liye wo proof tha ki main improve kar sakta hoon. Aur sabse important, ab second attempt ke liye clarity hai.

Ab bas ye plan hai

2 to 3 din mein ek full mock but full serious mode mein

Har mock ka brutal analysis, khud ko jhooth nahi bolna

JEE Mains PYQs timed, especially 2019 to 2020 for speed

English aur LR ko free marks mindset

Kabhi kabhi lagta hai kaash pehle samajh aata, but shayad ye hi process hai. Agar tum bhi 95 to 97 percentile range mein ho, general category ho, aur thoda lost feel kar rahe ho, main relate kar sakta hoon.

BITSAT theory se nahi, problem solving se crack hota hai… aur wo last 30 days mein bhi build ho sakta hai.

Ab second attempt ka mock tests shuru….

Planning a massive 40th birthday and need atmosphere entertainment that is not cheesy

We are throwing a huge 40th birthday bash for my husband in San Jose this fall. I really want atmosphere performers to elevate the space but I am terrified of booking something that feels like a kid's carnival. Does anyone know a high end group?

AI companion apps you can talk to not just text

Most ai companion apps are still text based which is interesting because human communication is mostly nonverbal and tone based. Stripping all of that out and reducing a relationship to typing seems like a weird limitation that nobody questions.

There's a handful that do voice now and even fewer that do video. The voice ones feel like an improvement because tone carries so much context that words alone miss, but they're still one dimensional since the AI can't see you.

The only platform I've found doing real two-way video where it actually reads your expressions and tone during the conversation is tavus. Not just video playing at you, it picks up on visual and audio input at the same time and the responses reflect that. Conversations feel qualitatively different from text or voice only.

The question I keep coming back to is whether multimodal interaction is the future for all companion AI or if text stays dominant because it's lower friction. Video requires you to be present in a way that text doesn't and I'm not sure everyone wants that from an ai companion. But for people who want depth over convenience the gap is enormous.

Does anyone else feel weirdly proud after fixing small poor problems?

Okay I just want to celebrate a small win because nobody in my real life understands why I’m this happy lol!!!

I bought my above ground pool last summer thinking it would be easy. Spoiler… it was NOT easy. First week everything was perfect. Second week I noticed the bottom getting slippery and I almost wiped out stepping in. Like a full cartoon fall situation waiting to happen.

So yesterday I decided NO MORE slipping!!! I drained just enough water, brushed the floor properly, checked the filter, and even started wearing those water booties and socks I randomly ordered from alibaba months ago. Honestly I thought they would be useless but wow… game changer!! I can walk around without feeling like I’m on ice skates

Not gonna lie, some stuff I bought from alibaba before was kinda hit or miss, so I didn’t expect much. But these actually helped me clean better because I wasn’t scared of falling every two seconds.

Now the liner looks cleaner, water feels nicer, and I did my first full vacuum without quitting halfway!!! BIG PERSONAL VICTORY!!!

Pool ownership is teaching me patience I never knew I had. Every tiny improvement feels like winning a medal lol.

Anyone else celebrate these small maintenance wins?? Or is it just me being overly excited about pool chores again
