Did anybody invite their friends and their families to their house during a blizzard or a blackout?

Was anyone else bothered/frustrated by the fact the family never connected the Balloon Baby Kate got from Pal with why she was so upset, from Arthur’s Lost Dog?

Was it just me, or did anybody else feel so frustrated at the end of “Arthur’s Lost Dog.” That the Read family never put two and two together and connected Baby Kate getting the balloon from Pal that made her stop crying and realized oh so that’s what she wanted. She just wanted a balloon.

They were just so clueless and are just like “I don’t know. I guess we’ll never know why she was so upset.” When it’s so obvious that the balloon that Pal brought her made her stop crying. And is right in front of their faces. The first season of Arthur, I feel like had so many holes. Again, this could be a meeting thing. But it’s bothered me for so long. I just wanted to hear your guys thoughts

Favorite Arthur song?

Even though the library card song is a classic, I'd have to say that Brain's "Jekyll Hyde" song is the catchiest

"In my Africa" honorable mention ☝🤓

DW felt too entitled when she first got Kate in DW's baby

Did anyone else notice that in DW's baby she was just upset that she wasn't in charge the way she thought she was going to be First when Arthur burped Kate and then when she was bragging about Kate sharing her room but Kate was crying all night Putting her in DW's room was a terrible idea no wonder DW decided to get rid of her.

My reaction that I keep seeing scary lion puppets from Between the Lions and keep getting scared of the show and losing sleep due to the episodes that aired after another creepy show Electric Company 2009 at 2:30 on WMVT in 2009 and the Wild Kratts episode with the lions gave me PTSD flashbacks

Between the Lions scared me as a kid and it still does today I just can't rewatch it *sobs* any better shows than that which are not creepy as Between the Lions is please don't let that show corrupt your minds and make me lose sleep like I did.

channeling my inner Binky Barnes Wingman

My local insectarium has a butterfly garden that I visited today, and I totally get why Binky was obsessed.

Also learned that butterflies can get drunk off the fermented/ripe fruit since the sugar converts to alcohol? The staff thought the blue guy on the ground was dead but he started flying albeit erratically which staff said is typical when they’re drunk. 😂

Actual footage of me crying in my cousin's arms while watching the 2019 Clifford reboot (it made depressed and suicidal when I was 14)

It's the 2015 Bob the Builder reboot but way worse... OG Clifford fans feel my pain. It got even worse when my spectrum receiver in Milwaukee gaslit me and put classic Clifford's icon instead of the reboot's and the reboot played on demand and the suicidal thoughts became even worse than before. If PBS Kids doesn't remove the trashy reboot and bring back classic Clifford I'm going to blow my brains out

Help finding an episode

Now I don’t know if my memory is being delulu but I swear there was an episode where a character/s were eating a type of Indian platter in a big circle plate. Hope this makes sense😪

What Arthur episode was pointless in your opinion?

For me, probably where Kate and Pal made friends with a talking Italian flea, that was just boring and in " In My Africa, where it’s just singing about all the African countries, it was made before South Sudan became independent too

So are they basically chanting “white power” here?

Two aardvarks chanting “A-A-R-D-V-A-R-K” just sets off my fascist radar.

Was it fair that Arthur got special treats when he was sick and DW didn’t?

Did anyone get dessert or snacks when they were sick? Also you think as a grandmother she make the same for DW?

What do you think is the most frustrating 180 with no self awareness?

I can think of 2 prime examples of this.

The first is D.W. 's Baby, where in the course of 5 minutes, D.W. goes from being beyond excited to have a sister, to literally wanting to get her into so much trouble that her own parents would disown her.

The other, which I think is far more frustrating and less relatable, is Dad's Dessert Dilemma where Arthur has completely blinded himself to the idea that his Dad's cooking might be Good, that he tries to sabotage his Dad's own masterpiece by hiding it amongst the other cakes. As Mr. Ratburn takes a bite, Arthur has no thoughts in his head beyond being condemned by the school for bringing the cake, only for Mr. Ratburn's reaction to be so positive, that Arthur COMPLETELY goes the other way and literally objectifies his own Dad as a dessert making machine. He later apologizes for doing that, but never seems to have any sort of self-reflection in realizing that he unjustly never gave his Dad's food a chance.
