No PTO and No Paid Holiday? Seriously?

My company was absorbed into the Allied bubble on October. They assured us Nothing is changing. Now theres No PTO only sick time.. And now No paid Hoildays if your not scheduled. Is this the standard for Allied? What else they gonna take? They are gonna kill this contact when everyone walks..

Does nobody know how to communicate here?

I call the main office, straight to voicemail. I email my supervisor, no answer. I message my supervisor, answer 2 weeks later. Wtf is going on? And how do they operate a business like this? Not to mention when I finally got through to my supervisor and got scheduled a training I sit around for 2 hours and am sent home because they had no clue there was a training today. I’m just going ghost on them and will find another company, this is ridiculous. Never experienced anything like it.

Can they do this?

I accepted a job offer from Allied Universal back in early April, the job offer came with a specific schedule. I completed orientation, received my supervisor's number, text them for the site location and they respond to me saying there were many applicants and limited space, then asked if I'm willing to work totally different hours to what I agreed to when accepting the job offer.

Is this allowed? This feels like a complete bait-and-switch, I've spent the entire month up until now waiting on background checks, taking drug tests, etc. Is there someone I could/should talk to about this?

Am I being played?

Finally had my first day of training after waiting over a month since accepting the position. Was told in person to come in tomorrow for the next day, but then my supervisor texts me as I'm driving home telling me to reach out to the site manager to confirm my schedule's availability and if they're unable to confirm stay home and standby. There was no mention of this during my training today, they waited till I had left to text me this. I reached out like I was told and it's been an hour with no response despite the text being marked as read.

My experience with this company has been fucking awful so far, nothing but a constant stream of hoops to jump through and every time I think it's over, there's more. I thought I was finally in and able to work and now this happens. If it wasn't for the pay they're offering I would've cut my losses a while ago.

I JUST WANT TO WORK!

Post orders quiz

Hello,

At my site we were informed by email that all guards (around 60) are required to complete and pass a 40 question test or be removed. Timed for 35 mins.

I was told that it is an effort to "weed people out". Is this a usual occurrence for Allied? I've never heard of random full post quizzes before.

And, yes, everyone should know their post orders.

Field supervisor ghosted after interview

I recently completed the interview with both the client and the field supervisor for an armed position last Thurs and heaven’t heard back from him since and whenever I tried to call him, it seems like he blocked my phone number ( I didn’t bug him during weekend or anything). I went to the regional office today in person, they called him and didn’t get reply back from him either, and they told me to go home and wait. Idk what to do rn cuz i really need the job, should i just keep waiting or applying somewhere else ?

Why I say just work the job...

Recently it seems like my site has been a catalyst for breaches. We had a great coworker that just got let go due to this breach. Crazy thing the client (who we have the contract with) wanted to keep him. On the flipside AUS says they had to go because pretty much keeping them on the site will bring down the morale. Like wtf is that? Listen to anyone who works for AUS and you're reading this, just do the job. It doesn't matter how much you are loved where you work. If the big heads say you're out then you're out. Period. The contract will always be valued more over than the people who keep this dump running...

After 5 years of being a contractor I’m finally done with allied on the 14th of May. I couldn’t be happier. Good luck to all of you who are trying to get out. Do not give up and keep pushing.

Hello, I recently walked off my post after giving written resignation to my shift supervisor. However Allied is refusing to pay my final wage in the time and form specified by law. The local office staff I have talked with admitted to not knowing what the laws regarding final pay is.

I'm currently a few hours out from allied being considered to have engaged in wage theft.

My question is how common is wage theft with Allied Universal?

Allied keeps jerking me around and ghosting me on a buyback since they lost track of one of their storage units that contained hundreds of new uniforms and it got auctioned off to me. I guess there's gonna be a bunch of homeless people in cities surrounding me dressed as security guards since they dont wanna make a deal.

Got a question about a job application

I recently applied to be a security officer and within a couple days I checked back and the application said “not selected”. That means they rejected me right?

Not getting paid what I’m supposed to

I work for AUS in San Francisco I’m a rover from two different sites. I was told theses sites were at two different pay rates I agree and signed the doc. 5 months later I go into ehub for the first time to check my paystub for my lease and tell me why I’m only getting paid one rate, and it’s the lowest one. I told my supervisor she said they was gonna check in with the client it’s been almost one month since I brought it up with no response what can I do next ? Do they own me money ?

Always see people b*tching on here about Allied I just started working for them a month ago. As someone who’s ONLY worked warehouse jobs, having a desk job with allied has been a relief. I want to see why so many people hate Allied and if I’m getting myself into bs.
