Post orders quiz

Hello,

At my site we were informed by email that all guards (around 60) are required to complete and pass a 40 question test or be removed. Timed for 35 mins.

I was told that it is an effort to "weed people out". Is this a usual occurrence for Allied? I've never heard of random full post quizzes before.

And, yes, everyone should know their post orders.

Hello,

I've been with AUS for exactly 6mos. I got placed at a site thats really good and the pay is worth what the site requires. Im currently mobile patrol.

The problem is the shift supervisors, surprise. Nit picked to death over made up as they go along rules. Things that are mayyyyyyybe site specific but not in the handbook, and its my understanding that other than the computer module for certs; there isn't really a mobile patrol handbook or policy guide thats available.

Im interested in knowing how a transfer actually occurs. Yes, I've read the form. Yes, I've read what's available in the handbook. But I also know that things like this a lot of times are handled between an office and the account manager without always going thru the proper processes.

Has anyone transferred before? Is it difficult, do you get whatever they have available, do you apply thru AUS and hope for an interview and then your account manager is notified. I want to see what's out there without alerting the account manager who is on site and find a better suited place thats not up my ass over made up rules cause the last guy was a fk up.
