Unearthed Gems: Addams Family Dark World

Hey everyone,

I went down a serious rabbit hole and found a mix of videos that I couldn’t stop watching—ranging from the creepy brilliance behind the Addams Family. Figured I’d share in case anyone else is in the mood to explore something different.

Charles Addams Deep Dives (Gothic gold):

Got more lined up—will drop them in the comments.

If you end up checking these out, let me know which one hooked you.

Hello. I have some questions about the paintings shown in the original black and white

There is one painting that stands out vividly to my mind.

It was an opened egg shell, with ladders and floors inside. It was its own type of art.

I wish, someday, to own a print of this painting, while supporting the artist or their surviving family. If any of their art is for sale in my budget, I really wish I could own some. Even if their art was not featured in an episode. It was a beautiful painting. The first painting that ever really caught my eye as its own, unique, deep, beautiful piece. I grew up in a shattered, abusive, broken home. This is the first art that spoke to me.

Does anyone have any information about who the artist was, their works, or where I can learn more?

...does anyone even know which episode this was in? It was in the background. It's no giraffe. I wish to see it again. I have only looked at it for about two hours in my life and that was years ago, and I can't remember the episode number.

There needs to be a season of Wednesday with a similar plot to Knives Out

I genuinely think a mystery in the style of Knives Out would fit Wednesday so well. Just imagine her being pulled into a case involving a wealthy, deeply dysfunctional family (could be an outcast or normie family whichever works) and having to untangle all their secrets, lies, and motives.

Don't settle for anyone less than someone who looks at you the way Morticia looks at Gomez when he plays with his model train set.

Lost Media-Missing Syndication Scenes: The New Scooby Doo Movies S1.E3 Wednesday is Missing/Scooby Doo meets the Addams Family

Hi, I wanted to spread awareness to this subreddit about the missing scenes that were cut to fit more ad space (syndication) in hopes to find them, as someone here might have it in their tapes. Some of us over on the Scooby-Doo subreddit have been looking for this episodes missing scenes for quite some time. I wanted to ask the Addams Family community as this is also Addams Family Lost media as missing scenes may contain Gomez and Morticia Addams or Wednesday Addams. One missing scene that i have had confirmation about is a scene where Shaggy runs into a sarcophagus, then runs out only for a mummy to pop out and “unwind”. These scenes were cut after the first airing of the episode for more ad space and since then have only ever aired on Fox Affiliate broadcasts stations in 2 day syndication (Meaning they would split the episode in half and air both halves on Tuesday and Wednesdays). We were wondering if anybody here would have recorded a broadcast during 1986-1990 from a Fox affiliated broadcast station

The stations include

WNYW (Channel 5) – New York City, NY(Flagship O&O)

KTTV (Channel 11) – Los Angeles, CA (Flagship O&O)
