I posted the other day about getting my first ever blue rose. Color me surprised signing on just after posting to discover my first ever gold rose had spawned overnight too! I wasn’t even trying to grow one. Just a happy byproduct of trying to breed my blues! So, yay!
And my second blue came in the morning after. I’m so excited! 🥰🥹😁🥳

I recently started back up after a 2-3 year break, didn't get very far initially. I have coconuts, apples, pears, oranges, orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, cosmos, tulips, and pansies that I am willing to trade for peaches and cherries. Send DM, I work 9-5 during the week so I can't be on until after that.
for background: i’m a full time college student (art school) who also does personal extracurricular projects for personal fulfilment and portfolio reasons so i’m very busy. issue is i LOVE animal crossing but i really don’t get to play it as much.
i don’t believe in that log in for 15m a day thing,, the basic daily chores themselves take way more than 15m and that’s not even getting into the fun things to do in a day. im still quite early game,, i’ve had severally house upgrades but kk hasn’t performed yet bc like i said i don’t have too much time to play. a normal satisfying play through for me is about 3h, that’s enough time for me to do chores and have some fun decorating etc. i’m only able to do that every saturday and sunday so i practically only play twice a week and even then that’s 6 entire hours i could be spending on either schoolwork or my personal projects.
don’t get me wrong, i don’t consider it time wasted at all because i do enjoy it,, i am very good student and i do put a lot of time into my personal projects; i just feel like i could still put even more time into school and my projects. i end up feeling guilty whenever i play this game because it’s such a time sink. i’ve missed so many in game holidays too bc i can’t afford to play everyday.
what i mean to ask is, how do you (busy, working, ambitious adults and students) manage the balance? i’m beginning to realise i may have to unfortunately stop playing to dedicate more time to my long term goals. any advice?
I made a secondary profile on my switch so I can make a home for all the people on my island without one! Timmy & Tommy, Nook & Isabel, the Able sisters, Blatheres & Celest, and the traveling vendors to have a nice guest room. I find it unconscionable for them to not have adequate housing and nook should get reported for the hours he makes Isabel work.

Here to ask, what do you believe would be in the ideal bedrooms for these characters? (Split up as I listed them above). I’m particularly stumped on Nook/Isabel and Timmy&Tommy’s rooms. Able sisters will get a fashion runway, Balthers will get his fossils with some celestial elements for his sister when she visits. Hit me with your ideas!

So I decided to explore the question to see if I could get an answer, once and for all... Are K.K. Slider and DJ KK one and the same dog with two different performing personas? Or are they, indeed, two seperate (possibly related) performers?
So I waited until K.K. Slider had stopped by The Roost, and tried to invite DJ KK along via Amiibo. He was... unreachable. Out of curiosity, I tried K.K. Slider, and got an identical message.
Next step, I swung by the hotel. Both declined the invitation, saying they had a gig.
Okay... So far, it's not looking so good for them to be seperate people. But there was one more thing to try. Off to my archipelago I flew!
DJ KK already had a home there... So what would happen if I offered to make one for KK Slider?
Well, I will tell you, shall I? He accepted! So that settles it. They can both coexist on your Happy Home Paradise archipelago, thus they must be too seperate characters. The fact that DJ KK was unavailable to invite to my home island while K.K. Slider was there had to purely be a coincidence.
That being said... Since I didn't have any undeveloped plots on my archipelago, I built Slider's home on the same plot as DJ's, and made it a near duplicate except one is at day and the other at night time... So if it makes your brain more comfortable to pretend they are one and the same, I grant you the continued illusion. 😅
